Prodyne Acrylic On-Ice Condiment, 1-Pack, Clear

I like this product because I came up with the idea to do a taco bar for our grandson's birthday party and I needed a solution to keep the condiments fresh and crisp while outside in the summer sun. This tray worked beautifully 😍

I love this condiment holder. I can put ice underneath to keep the veggies cool and its super easy to clean. I love that it keeps the bugs out at picnics and everything stays cold and fresh. Will use it in the future at parties and for different reasons like a potato bar, ice cream topping bar, or taco toppings in the future. So many things you can use this for! I like it and may purchase another for big parties!

Plastic is surdy and easy to clean. Does what it is advertised to do.

We use these displays for cheese samples at the farmers market and they look very professional and do an excellent job. Crushed ice is preferable but even with cubed ice it's not bad. Just have some toothpicks handy so people don't have to reach in with their fingers to get the food. We like them so much we just bought two more! As stated elsewhere, the lid is not air tight and these are not for storage but all in all, a good price and nice product. Not indestructible, can crack if dropped.

I sell my pickled veggies at markets. This is perfect for samples and keeping them cold.

PERFECT for Indoor/Outdoor entertaining!!!! I purchased this to go with the four Prodyne AB-3-D Salad-On-Ice with Dome Lids AND Prodyne AB-5-L Appetizers-On-Ice with Lids for a huge party. Since we entertain often, found it to be an excellent addition to our entertaining serve ware. I gave it five stars because it's made very well, is a thick acrylic and five condiment compartments are easy to fill and easy to clean up too! I only wish that there were small acrylic spoons that came with it. The design could bee a little better if there were small slots in the lids so you can put the lid down with the spoons left in the condiments. A perfect addition to your entertaining serve ware inside or out. Will NOT disappoint you and I highly recommend this for a gift or for yourself.

I read all of the reviews prior to purchasing this product. Now that I've used the product and reread the reviews, Only one review acknowledges that unless you are using crushed ice, the containers are not surrounded by ice once the bin is full. In fact, when using commercial ice cubes, if you put in too much ice, the containers don't rest in the holder properly and the lid won't close. If you don't put in enough ice, it defeats the purpose of keeping food in the containers on the ice. It's a fine balance, that is quickly ruined once the ice starts to melt. Then for sure your containers won't be chilled in the ice. That lone review said to add water to the ice...GREAT idea, one that I will do next time.The containers don't have enough of a cone shape to be in the ice. Using finely crushed ice could help, but there still is not that much room for it.When transporting the filled unit, I managed to tilt it slightly, spilling salsa all over my shirt. Obviously that is my fault, but if each compartment came with a lid, that could have been prevented.All that said, I love the clean look of the product. I sell dips at event/craft fairs, and I do feel this product gives a professional look. I just need to make sure that my dips stay cold for food safety purposes. It's the reason I bought the product, and admittedly am wondering how the other reviewers missed the fact that what kind of ice is used can make or break the purpose of the product.I should mention, that if you use only 4 of the containers, it is possible to surround all of the containers completely with any type of ice, be able to close the lid, and be very food safe. But when all 5 containers are used, there is no room for ice between the containers.

Bought this to replace a condiment tray that costed twice as much and lasted two weeks.My old condiment tray suffered from bad design. When dropped into the sink one corner (the left hinge) immediately broke.Positives:-This tray doesn't seem to have my previous tray's risk because the handle grips stick out farther than the hinge.-Clear is nice so you can see when the ice has completely melted.-Rubber feet keep this thing planted. If a customer bumps, it stays put.Negative:-Residue and clear can be a problem because any amount of oils/greases left on the surface will dull the shine, seems quite susceptible.-Plastic trays seem a bit on the thin side.Other:-I know this type of acrylic is susceptible to cracking over time, when it gets old and is stressed repeatedly, little crack will form.-Definitely on my list of repurchases should I need another. If it lasts 1.5 years it will be just as good or better than commercial versions.

I love these, I bought 2 , great for barbecues, entertaining, xmas, making sandwiches. You can put a thin ice bag or loose to keep everything fresh, salads, dips, sandwich fillings , fruit and condiments. Best thing keeps the flies off the food and easy stored in the fridge. Love them!
