Very easy installation, and fits my Taurus G2 millennium perfectly!

Not Snug
Plate is not a snug fit. It needs the screw to secure it down. I tourqued the screw but it came loose still and the plate didn't hold.I ended up buying lakelines G2c mount and it is made very slightly bigger so that the fit is snug. Highly recommend going with Lakelines.I had to hammer lakelines plate with a 2# hammer, but I feel sure that the plate won't come out, even if the screw loosens

Screw that came with mounting plate is small and likely aluminum or pot metal instead of steel. After one shot the screw pulled out as well the dovetail on the plate itself failing to hold the base in snug. And the screw was snugged with loctite, not a case of being over tightened, I used a jewelers screwdriver to ensure it wasn't torqued. Returning and trying a different brand with hopefully a tighter dovetail. In the defense of ADE, there isn't much for it to bite onto and the screw is maybe M2.5 .

Machining tolerances are way off, it is unsafe to install or use on anything that goes boom
Unfortunately this order came in with one side of mount machined down too much, about 1.5 mm too deep @ one edge, that makes this unusable/unreliable and will not retain centered position with or without mounting screw. Bracket shifts off center with light touch, did not even bother to test fire, removed it and ordered replacement bracket, hope it will not have same problem that this one came in with. I'll update when new one arrives.*Update* from 3 starts to 1 :( Replacement arrived with identical machining defect, DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME - I suggest product quality inspection before batch is sent to Amazon warehouse!

Stear clear of this item. The first didn't fit and the second one none of the screws would hold the optic to it even tho I have a specific gun and specific optic that are both supposed to work with this. Further down it even says it's made "air soft grade" yet sold for real firearms

not worth it
the plate wears out crazy fast and the one I got just slid into the rail and didn't even have to tap in there is a lot of side-to-side movement after putting a few rounds though and it throws everything off zero and it can't stay in place as the gap between the rail and dovetail is noticeable no matter how you try to secure it.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS WITH THE SCREWS PROVIDED!!!!!
Eight rounds into sighting in my new scope my ADE Advanced Optics Red Dot sight mount base came loose!! Yes I tightened it down with a touch of loctite! The screws to the sight and the mount both stripped!!!! Now I have to find a gunsmith to remove the screw, drill and tap the hole so I can put my original sight back in. Sturdy plate! Sturdy sight! Highly inferior soft metal mounting screws!!! Annoyed is an understatement!!!
