Since second lockdown I was looking for a good barbell for home gym. But unfortunately any good barbell comes around about 18-20k rupees. Too expensive for home gym! I am not a heavy lifter and focus on hypertrophy so I wanted an economic barbell which can do the job and at the same time it should be safe. Came across Leeway's Austin 2.0 barbell for 9.5k only. This was a good price as per the flagship barbells in the market. I used it couple of days and it seems out this barbell is promising. I like this barbell but has some cons too. I will list pros and cons below. **Pros**: 1. Look and feel premium quality 2. Loves the black oxide coating. It doesn't protect from rust but definitely gives a good feel to hold the bar. Knurl feels natural unlike when it is coated with hard chrome (which is better to protect from rust) 3. Grooved sleeves are big yess! 4. Moderate sleeves spin which I like for hypertrophy 5. Knurling is super good. It is standard 1.2 mm volcanic knurl which gives you a perfect grip to hold the barbell for heavy weights. Knurling is neither too light nor too aggressive 6. Whip is moderate 7. 28 mm shaft diameter is what I was looking for. 8. Center knurl! Not a pros for the bar but have to mention that packaging was good. Cons: 1. Bar seemed to be a bit longer (1.5 cm) than the actual length claimed (attached a picture). 2. There is no mention of PSI value for the rod. It would be great if manufacturer provide PSI value. Though weight capacity is mentioned. Final verdict: This bar is super good for hypertrophy and home gym. As claimed it can hold upto 220 kg and it is a lot unless you are a heavy weightlifter/powerlifter. No bar is available in this price range with this quality. This bar is better than those bars you see in your local gym. But, if you are a serious heavy weightlifter/powerlifter and you do 300kg or 400 kg deadlift or squats then this bar is definitely not for you. I would recommend to got for better bar with PSI value between 190K-220K. Last but not least, this bar is made in India and this is an Indian company :D

The collars has rust on both sides under the coating. But the main issue was that one of the collars does not rotate as it should. But inspite of that this is a decent barbell for the price. It has good weight tolerance and it's well balanced.

Poor quality, may be used product as I find oxidation marks everywhere. Nonfunctional, all the money went to waste as one sleeve of the barbell has a bulge and no plates can get in.

It's a solid olympic bar. True to size and dimension. The bearings are also of good quality and the play is optimum. At this price point, it's an excellent purchase. I use it regularly for all compound exercises. Holding well till now. Highly recommended.

This is great quality for a very reasonable price.
