BEST FLOUR FOR FLATBREAD MAKING
THE BEST FLOUR FOR ROTI OR ANY FLATBREAD COOKED ON TAWA. THE ROTI IS NICE AND FLUFFY, DELICIOUS, WITH THE PERFECT RISE WHILE COOKING. THIS FLOUR WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME FOR THE PERFECT FLATBREAD MAKING, AND IT'S TRUE. WHAT MAKES THIS FLOUR SO PERFECT IS IT'S LOW PROTEIN LEVEL, MAKING IT SOFT FLOUR TO THE TOUCH. MY GROCERY STORE DOES NOT SELL THIS FLOUR SO I HAVE TO PURCHASE FROM AMAZON. WHEN I GET DOWN TO ONE BAG LEFT IN MY PANTRY, I ORDER AGAIN SO I WON'T GIVE OUT OF THIS FLOUR. THE PRICE IS EXPENSIVE, BUT THE TASTE IS DELICIOUS. BECAUSE OF THE PRICE, I ONLY USE THIS FLOUR FOR MY BREAD MAKING. I WILL DEFINITELY PURCHAS AGAIN

Being up this is from Canada the product is much better than any american-made products.

Fresh flour, excellent results.
Five Roses is the only flour I use to make my deep dish pizza dough. My family and friends tell me that my deep dish pizza is better than any that they buy at restaurants in and around the Chicagoland area. I appreciate the sentiment but I believe it's the crust that makes the pizza. When I developed my recipe I tried other flours but the best results came when I discovered and tried 5 Roses. The only bad thing is that I find buying the flour is more expensive on line than in a store such as Woodmans or even Walmart. However if you're far away, the convenience is well worth it.

Canadian flour is excellent. Always it will give you great results. The difference with US flour is in the protein content.I gave 4 stars because it would be better if it was ‘unbleached’.Do you think you can offer us unbleached flour?

great flour from the great white north
I was very happy to find this on amazon. I always grab a couple bags every fishing trip to Canada. my first trip I wondered why on such a long drive we were making an extra stop for flour of all things. following the advice of a friend I grabbed a couple bags. I gave a bag to my dad who makes bread almost daily. after his first batch with it he called saying get more next trip. the bread in Canada is better too. my Canadian friends tell me by law Canadian flour has less fillers added which in turn leads to higher % protein and gluten. whatever the reason they have better flour and hence better bread. I can't say this is the best Canadian flour but I think its hands down better than any US flour. from what I have read king Arthur is the only US flour that is supposed to be comparable
