Gentry (Wolves of Winter's Edge) Paperback – November 11, 2016

This was an easy read and had me turning the pages. I read it in like 3 days and had me wanting more of it. Great story line and it was very intense.

This is not typically my genre but the description peaked my interest so I decided to try it out. Overall, I really liked it. The characters were strong and well written. I did find the heroine to be a little annoying but not so much that she became unlikable. This was a 5 star book for me up until the last couple of chapters. BEWARE!!! SPOILER ALERT BEYOND THIS POINT!!!! One of the things I was loving most about the story was the differences between Gentry and Blaire and how they were each going to have to overcome those differences to be together. The biggest difference, of course, was the werewolf vs. human difference. Then, seemingly out of nowhere (at least to me), the author has Blaire become a werewolf too.??? To me, it didn't seem to fit the story and was just kind of stupid and disappointing. I think this would be a better story (potentially a better series) if differences were embraced rather than "fixed."

Judy subjected I  read T.S. Joyce's books that I would like them. Well let me tell I started with Harper's Mountain Book #1 Yep fell in love took the week off and read every book in could buy one right after another. I'm in love is all I can say, as I always say I'm one very lucky women, I read all the Best Author's Books.     Blaire Annalee Hayward birthday present was one week in a log cabin with meals. Blairedidn't really want to come but now she was glad she did she needed this vacation. Sure it's been a year since the love of her life, her childhood sweetheart divorced her. She didn't think she would make it but she put everything  off herself in her job than went home to the memories and died a little every night. Working was her life first thing in the morning last thing at night, Blaire didn't have any life. And so this present was given to her by her best friend/co-worker. Driving to the Inn Woooooo check out the hunk on the porch, OMG and orgasm waiting to happen.     Gentry Striker is a WolfShifter who would hunt the wild wolves, he himself was a Rogue a lone wolf. Then he got the dreaded call from his dad's lawyer and his brothers Roman and Asher. All three of them were dominant wolves and they never ever get along, it seems all three of them were lone wolves. So Gentry went back to bury his dad and waited for his brothers, when they come they could finish everything up and all leave there separate ways. Seeing a car drive up, this women waves a him, he thought she was crazy then she gets out starts joking and thinks she staying. Oh the magic of 1010 is back..     A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

T.S.Joyce offers another series of delicious wolves, with just the right level of fun, intrigue and angst.The H is a good man, who fell for the h straight away. He showed how much he liked her, shared some of his specific needs with her and what insight he could about his family. The h is wonderful; very sweet with a sense of humour that she used to tease her mate and his brothers. The heroine listened and thought about what the H asked of her before taking any action. I liked the characters and could relate to them.The author gave us a heroine who showed how she was smart. She actually thought before acting and teased others to show how she liked them.I read so many books where I am TOLD the h is smart but her actions show me ignorance, stupidity and often they are just rude and thoughtless.I avoid books where the h is described as feisty or sassy - I find them equal stupid or selfish.T.S. Joyce is a talented writer and an auto buy for me.

This is an amazing start to a new series with a very different stance on werewolves than in this author's other books. I'm not giving that away though.I loved Gentry and Blaire!! Blaire had such an attitude and wasn't letting anyone tell her what to do even if might be for the best. She came to Rangeley to celebrate her birthday by getting away from her dull life after her divorce. Gentry wanted Blaire even if it broke all the rules, but he didn't want to take a chance on her life either from the Bone Ripper Pack, or from himself.When gentry's brothers Roman and Asher showed up what seemed hard got even worse and things spiraled out of control from there until it didn't. I actually came to like and root for Roman and Asher at the end and can't wait to read their stories. I'm betting they're going to be good ones.T.S. Joyce never disppoints!

Gentry Striker a werewolf was summon home. His father was dead. A new alpha Rhett has kill his father. Gentry came home to take care his father properties. Blaire Hayward human was on vacation, staying at the little cabins Gentry was fixing up.Fated Mates with A lot of happy ever after!

Wow! Ich habe mir schon lange nicht mehr bei einem Buch so viele schöne Zitate und lustige Sprüche markiert, weil sie mich so begeisterten, rührten oder zum Lachen brachten.Ich bin absolut verzaubert von diesem Reihenauftakt. Gentry ist umwerfend, dominant, besitzt aber auch eine süße und verspielte Seite, die nur Blaire zum Vorschein bringen kann.Blaire wiederum ist wie ein Schiff auf offener, stürmischer See und findet in Gentry ihren rettenden Hafen.Beide passen unglaublich perfekt zueinander und ihre Liebesgeschichte hat mich sehr berührt und auch ein paar Tränchen verdrücken lassen.Es ist stark, wie beide um einander und für ihre Beziehung kämpfen, Tabus brechen und zu einem Paar werden.Hammer! Ich kann Band 2 kaum erwarten!

I started my TS Joyce experience with The Wolves of Winter's Edge, these 3 books were absolutely amazing - I cannot say enough great things about the action, excitement and superb writing, so I wanted to read more!! There are a couple of stand alone series, so next I read Bears Fur Hire. These were not as edgy or dramatic as the Winter's edge series, but fun, romantic and exciting reads; also the Bear Valley series which is very good but I preferred the other series.So what next, well it seemed that if I wanted the most out of the books, I should go back to the beginning and read in order, and so start with the Saw Bears... Oh I am SO glad I did, these were great and you get so much more by reading them in order. Then came the Fire Bears, getting better and better... These were fun, adventurous and made me want to move home to find these guys...So I signed up to kindle unlimited and have dived into the rest of the books until my fingers get pruney!!The Gray Backs are my favourite so far, the quality of the writing gets better and better, the characters deeper and more raw and although they are exciting, they are also so much fun! Book 1 particularly made me laugh so hard the whole was through... And that carried on through the series! Book 6 - Damion's story - just WOW this deserved 6 star!So about to start the Boarlanders... Can't wait - we don't know much about them yet - but think I might be a little in love with Harrison already!!

After reading so many books based in the same world I was nervous to read this new series. I should have known TS Joyce would not disappoint. Although it is sad we have moved away from Damon's Mountains and all the stories based there, this new book is just as riveting. Be prepared to fall in love with a new cast of characters. Gentry and Blaire will steal your heart. And the peaks at Asher and Roman will have you itching for their stories. I laughed and cried and just felt the world come alive. Another stellar read by T S Joyce. Take a chance and fall in love, and if this is your first you must read them all! ;P

Nice readingNot my favourite by this author but a nice beginning in a new series.

T S Joyce introduces us to a new world and a new pack in this wonderful book.As always the hero is hot,the girl is sassy and there are adventures galore.I love this ladies work,she draws us in,always,and makes us care about these people (characters doesnt seem right).i cant wait for the next story in the series. owooooo
