This is a great pot! It is nice and heavy, but not so heavy that it’s hard to move around. It looks great on my balcony. It’s nice to have a plug for the hole, but I always like drainage in my pots. I added rocks in the bottom to aid in drainage. Pots are getting so pricey these days so I looked around a lot. But this one is just what I wanted and the price was great! It does look like cement! I suppose you could paint it if you wanted to add color.🤷‍♀️ It came packaged well, and no breaks,scratches or cracks. I’m very happy!

I love the way this planter looks and it is much lighter than you think it would be while also being sturdy.

Large and good quality!

Purchased in June 2021. Beautiful set, matched our retaining wall and paver materials/colors. We had them displayed in a set of 3 in a protected corner, sitting on black beach pebbles in an area by our walk engineered for drainage (no standing water on the grade surface). They are filled approx 1/2 way with landscape lava rock, then a coconut batting, landscape cloth and then potting soil. Keeps the bottom from holding excess water and makes them light enough to move if needed. As indicated in the product information, they are for outdoor use in cold climates - no need to cover or bring in over winter.As the snow melted in the spring of 2022 - one, and only that winter - is discoloring.I contacted Amazon, expecting at least a 1 year warranty, since the product info is very clear that they are manufactured for use in cold climates (to which I confirmed in a Q&A on another Kante product before purchasing this set).Amazon did nothing. Informed me I was past the return period (which was less than 45 days) and that "there is no warranty on concrete items" (and these aren't concrete - they are fiberglass). When I asked about contacting the manufacturer, they told me the item was fulfilled by Amazon. When I asked again about contacting the manufacturer, after having "level 1" support escalate to the next level, I was told they did not have any information on contacting the Manufacturer.In the spring of 2022, we had a 2nd pot of the set flake paint and *2* of them are cracking along the bottom. These do not hold water or have an expansion material on the bottom of any of the pots - as they are filled with large landscape lava stones for the bottom 1/3 of the pot and have drainage holes. We over-engineered how we fill them to prolong their "all season use" and they still had damage after winters in Michigan.Amazon was unable to address the product failure and the Manufacture has been unresponsive to attempts by both me and Amazon to reach for resolution.LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Love the size. And quality of the planter is great. I would buy this again.

It had a lot of imperfections when looked at up close (there were scratches but looked as if it had all been painted over). A lot of cement residue inside pot no matter how hard I try to remove it. I spray painted the smaller two matte black because I didn’t care for the charcoal color. Overall I think it looks great, the planters are for indoors so I can’t say if paint will chip.

This plant pot appears to be made of fibreglass reinforced concrete, or similar material. There are definitely fibreglass fibres cast into the material, which I believe is concrete. It's heavy and the construction appears to be very good with no visible defects. There's a hole in the bottom of the plant pot for drainage, but they also supply a rubber plug to seal this if you need it to be water-tight. It has a modern appearance and looks great in my livingroom.I give this plant pot full marks, and I'm going to buy another one.

Hi,Item is just as described …sturdy ..perfect size ( large) … not too heavy … and great in appearance.But it arrived partly exposed due to badly damaged container ( box) and inner insulation.Carefully checking for cracks and /or leaking.Will send photos if necessary.Will update on condition later.Great value for money.Great gift idea.Great outdoor planter.I still intend to buy another one … even if this one is damaged … as i love it.L.CUpdate.
