Perrigo Ammonium Lactate Lotion 12% - 8 oz, Unscented, Alcohol-Free Moisturizer for Dry Skin with Aloe Vera

this is a great, thick moisturizer. a little goes a very long way. I have been using it as a night time under eye moisturizer and it is fantastic. Benefits are the under eye circles are diminished and the puffy bag at the outside edge of each eye are also diminishing. Be warned that it is slightly sticky so I use it during the day if I will be staying home. One day I needed to rush out and I used setting powder the results were quite satisfactory.

10.12.23I have had KP (aka "chicken skin," "strawberry legs," etc.) since I was yooooung; the worst being ~11 yrs old. It was so bad that my mother --who 10,000% knew better-- would "pick" at it, leading me to over a decade's long battle with dematillomania 🙄 (I knew better, too :P) $1,000+ of microdermabrasion did NOTHING.THE PRODUCT (finally! Lol) I am SOLD. I have used the hyper-expensive, "holy grail" KP treatment, Amlactin, and I could never stick with it because it burned SO much and itched SO much I either wouldn't want to use it OR I would want to wash it off immediately. One part of KP treatment is exfoliating, and exfoliates skin+Amlactin=uncontrollable burning/itching (even just freshly-showered skin!) It also felt considerably greasy 😕 I was about to drop $35 on some other cream until I saw this on Amazon. I thought "For the price, why not?" And I am SO happy I did. It doesn't burn so I feel comfortable using it immediately after a shower or bath, it's not super-duper greasy so I don't mind reapplying it (it is a LITTLE bit, but that's to be expected with these kinds of lotions) it doesn't smell like anything AND it doesn't feel gritty.I know my thigh and upper arm don't look too impressive just yet, but if you've ever had KP you KNOW it takes time and diligence. I DEF see a difference in my arms just after 5 uses! My legs will, hopefully, catch up soon! 🤞🏻THE PRICE cannot be beat.I will update more and more as I see progress; eventually making a collage so the timeline is easier to digest 🙂 I HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU, REALLY! A neighbor told me how the lotion changed the appearance of her feet, so I give it a try and to my surprise it really do what she said 😏 no more dry feet and it was worth the money spent.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it- hence the 4 star rating, it helps with his itchy skin on his legs and has healed where he had scratched. But! I do have to add that I personally tried this product before giving to him and yes I do have very sensitive skin but this stuff IMMEDIATELY stung and burned and turned my arms and the backs of my hands bright red. I washed it off and the rash calmed down, but I did a lot of reading reviews before purchasing this product and I know it says it’s okay for sensitive skin and good on eczema, which I also have and it made the eczema that usually only bothers me in the summer flare up. ALSO, I can’t believe I’m typing this because when I read about this I thought “there’s no way...” but when I first opened the bottle I got a shock (like a static shock) like I read other consumers talking about. I wiped the bottle down with a damp cloth thinking maybe it was the plastic wrapping making static but again and again when I touched my hand to the lotion I was “shocked” again! So weird! Also, the name of the lotion includes the word ammonium so I don’t know why I was surprised when it smelled like ammonia to me. But again, 4 stars, the smell doesn’t bother my husband and he says he hasn’t been “shocked” either, and I did buy it for him!

Love this product as it keeps your feet exfoliated and your feet are soft.

Best lotion on the market. Gets rid of ashiness and it'slightly scented.

A good friend who is a doctor recommended this product (and specifically this brand) for dry, itchy skin. I am very impressed. Definitely relieved the itch and is so very moisturizing. I will be recommending to others with dry skin.
