Used to replace a steel post that had gotten stuck in the frame.A light coat of white lithium on the textured aluminum and the replacement post is a lighter and better upgrade.Good.

I used this to replace the heavy, garbage steel seatpost on a used mountain bike I bought for my son. I previously had bought a nicer junior saddle for it that works well, so I wanted something that was compatible and this fit the bill. It is half the weight of the old one, at least, and the finishing gave me some confidence this is decent quality. I don't anticipate any issues with it after easy installation and some successful use.

Just what I needed, my stock post was 250mm, this was 350mm , that enabled me to raise height to proper height for me, 6’2” guy.
