Very nice kids boots worth the money

Boots were purchased for my autistic son, who has previously had many issues with other winter boots and the lining. These boots work great for him, and he wears them without complaint. My only wish is that they came with shoe strings that tie, instead of the pull tab. He likes his shoes laced pretty tight, and at times he struggles to get these just right without the pull tab loosening. Otherwise, I would definitely purchase again.

I ordered these a tad large for my toddler (he wears a 10.5, I ordered an 11). I actually RECEIVED a size 13, and they fit about one size too big. This is fine, since I like to be able to layer socks inside for him, and MAYBE they'll fit next winter also.He says his feet are warm and dry and we've had a very cold and snowy winter this year. The laces loosen up enough to make it easier to put the boots on and take them off.The boots meet my expectations, and I would probably order them again.

The fit is good, and they are a nice, sturdy boot. The problem is that the laces stop well before the top of the boot, and specifically before the top of the tongue, which leaves a significant gap that allowed A LOT of snow to get in under the tongue until the point where the laces are. If cinched tightly, snow will not make its way further into the boot than that, but that leaves at least a good inch of the inside of the tongue soaking wet. They've got a nice fuzzy lining, which kept my son's feet warm except at the upper tongue. There the thick fuzzy lining is almost detrimental, because once wet it takes a very long time to dry out.
