The CS4 provides four inches of storage depth, but keep in mind that there are also two thin flat storage areas between the three modules. (Remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.) keep in mind also that you can add any other center section to the B4 (like zip a CS2 in between the CS4 and the FcR) to add more storage on certain days. Any flex system module can zip onto any other flex system module. The main compartment of the CS4 has locking zipper sliders. A small collection of charts or flight docs can go in the space between the CS4 and either of the end caps. A 13 Ultrabook or MacBook pro can also fit into this in between Space, and the iPad (or other tablet) can go in the main pocket on the flat cap rear The B4 Swift also works amazingly well as a daily personal bag and/or as a commercial carry-on bag. A 13 Laptop plus a load of documentation plus an iPad, plus all the small stuff like cables, adapters and support stuff for all your technology, your digital camera, snacks, etc - all of this fits easily in this bag. Even your noise-reduction headset for those long flights. The other great thing about this bag is that it is actually two bags for the price of one. Not only is it a B4 Swift, but you can also build a B0 slim by removing the center section and zipping just the two end cap modules together. (If you ever think you'd like to remove the CS4 and zip Just the two end caps together to make the B0 slim, you'll need to make sure you also order an slim handle Kit.)

Great Bag
Absolutely amazing little bags. Can get quite a bit of stuff in a small space - has thick/heavy fabric in places that make sense and thin/light in other places. I've neer had a bag where ALL of the pockets can actually be used. Usually, there are one (or several) pockets that are useless b/c of size, fabric etc. Well worth the expense for Brightline. I am not a fan of the large logo Yellow/Blue Logo and overly colorful zipper pulls - it takes away from the overall quality/design of the bag. Otherwise, a hit! Couple of small changes (1) the divider should be made such that it can fold in half to allow tall things (like a laptop) to pass behind while still acting as a divider (2) it need some sort of rain fly/zipper cover to help with water ingress during light rains (3) needs a lightly reinforced pocket for pens/pencils (other than outside zipper) (4) needs an RFID passport/wallet pocket (5) water bottle holder & exeternal pockets could be less bulky. I travel extensively with a X1 Nano, a Surface Go, Bose headphones, a Pixel 4a, set of Sony Earbuds, a small BT mouse, a couple of multi-tap USB C chargers, chargers & cables, a pad, a small leather notebook for personal notes, a few personal items (like meds, sanitizer, a toothbrush, etc) ... and have a dedicated space for everything! I found myself wanting to bring 'luxuries' Little items are easy to find and no need to dig through large stupid pockets (really what are these other laptop/bag mfrs thinking!!).

Great bag for pilots!
Obviously not the cheapest bag you can buy, but you get what you pay for and this bag is no exception! I love the stand up profile of the bag, it makes it easy to find a home for it in the cabin of any sized aircraft. And there is always the option to grow the bag to suit your needs should you desire more room. Highly recommended.

Best flight bag for students and experienced pilots!
This is an awesome bag. As a new student pilot, i got sick of taking my headset out of my bag, then out of its case and doing the reverse really quick. I no longer have to carry my headset in the case. The headset goes straight in the bag. It fits my iPad Pro in its kneeboard case, a bunch of pens and markers, large water bottle, spare batteries, foggles, e6b, plotter and sectional, a large portable 20,000 mah battery for my phone and ipad, a notebook and I still have a bit of room in two of the three front pockets. Keeps everything safe and compact. The ability to swap the shoulder strap and handle is awesome. The quality is excellent and should last for years and years!

Nice bag
I love this bag but it falls forward. I’m trying to figure out a fix because the bag is perfect in every other way.

Excellent and well made
This bag is perfect for the cockpit. It carries all that I need in a compact, durable, easy zip, multiple compartment carry bag. There is even a place for my small French press.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THIS PUZZLE OF A BAG
much too expensive for this low quality hard to put together bag. it came in a dozen pieces which you have to be a rocket scientist to assemble

I wanted to love this bag, so bad!
TL:DR - Does not fit as much as you want to believe it will. Overpriced IMO. The quality is GREAT though. Headphones take up 50% of the useable storage space, that leaves about as much room for a POH and FARAIM or if you're regional maybe one set of tightly packed clothes. And I mean tight.Love the compact size, sturdiness, and overall great quality of this bag. The zippers looked YKK which means they will last a long time without issues. They didn't seem to have any weak spots that could easily snap off. I loved the handle was thick and firm, the bag stood up right no matter it's weight and balance. Now, it just did NOT fit as much as I thought it would. I could barely get FARAIM/POH in the bottom half and headset in the top. That leaves no other useable room for larger things like sectional charts and a plotter. You could slip it underneith the two above mentioned items but you'd have to be careful pulling your headset in and out not to bend the chart/plotter or scratch the headset. The 30 pockets on the front seem really useful but in my experience, they were not. They have a lot of excess spots that you could barely fit a credit card or two in which just seemed useless. I didn't appreciate the christmas tree array of colored zippers either. It almost seems like they were going for form over function and wanted to have a ton of zippers to make it look like there's lots of useable compartments.Honestly, I really wanted to like this bag. I'm a student pilot with just over 20 hours and going the career route here. For now, my simple Projekt laptop backpack from work holds 10x more than this and is almost the same size when stading vertically.
