Update: desert bloom is a truly unique smell, 3.5 stars. Not my favorite, but perfectly serviceable. I would say it does have that cactus flower smell, but also maybe a bit of a bitter lime or lemongrass smell. I tried it alone and then paired it with OSEA products (lemongrass) and it went well together. I used a citrus bath gel first and then followed it with the Philosophy Lemon Custard and it tied altogether nicely. I would say it would pair nicely with any citrus (lemon, grapefruit, lime or margarita inspired smells). In that vein, it may pair with any fruity smells, but that would be entirely subjective. Update: the amber version smells wonderful, 5 stars. It has all the wonderful qualities of a good dry oil. It absorbs quickly and completely, especially on damp skin. The real beauty of this oil is its scented versatility. It smells beautiful on its own, but layers just as well with so many other scents without overwhelming the other scents or being overwhelmed itself. It just lends itself so well in so many ways. It would layer well with any warm smell; I use it with EOS vanilla cashmere, but could see it working with a light coconut, coffee, caramel, or cashmere scent as well. I would wear this smell year round, no matter the season…it’s just that addictive. I am so impressed with this smell and feel almost anyone else would be as well. Give it a go; you won’t regret it. Update: Hume reached out to me with a concern about my satisfaction with the product, and options to make it right. Good customer service is always appreciated, and they certainly provided it. This oil certainly didn’t deliver on the vanilla smell, but it didn’t deliver on any of the other descriptors for the oil either. I didn’t get vanilla or coffee…it was a strange, funky musky smell with an undertone of some vague mesquite-like floral (maybe cactus?). The oil was definitely dry and lightweight and had the potential to leave the skin soft and supple, but I couldn’t get past the weirdness of the scent. Can’t recommend.

Is great on the skin. Has a very nice subtle scent, sinks into my skin very well. Only took off one star because I expected the scent to be a little more aromatic, and for the moisturization to be more worthwhile.

I didn’t know if this would live up to the hype, but WOW!! The vanilla daze scent is absolutely incredible!! Such a warm, cozy vanilla. I’m so happy to find a safe product that performs well! It absorbs quickly into the skin and makes your skin look visibly hydrated, without feeling sticky or greasy. New holy grail product!!

I am particular when it comes to the products I will put on my skin and I love this whole line of products. I also use the deodorant. The scent is nice and light with a little bit of muskiness which I particularly like. I don’t like anything with too much perfume. The quality is top-notch. There are a lot of other body oils out there that are super trendy that are way overpriced. This one is a great value for the money. It is a dry oil, which is nice too, so it doesn’t leave your skin. Super slick. I like to put it on after a shower and I can put my clothes on right after and don’t have to worry about anything. Give it a try!

I love this stuff! It smells so good and is thin enough to absorb quickly. You’ll feel “oily” for a few minutes as it absorbs but afterwards your skin feels so soft! I use it on my legs after shaving

So I compared this to the nuxe oil and it doesn’t really compare it all. It says that is a dry oil. It feels a little dry oily but not completely. It does leave you with a little little bit of a slick of oil on you. The smell also is not really that great I think they’re going for like a southwestern sagebrush smell or something like that but it just doesn’t smell that great

I heard about this product in a ‘Beaty review’ of products. After I read about it & the reviews I ordered it. It is a non-oily body spray. I chose the unscented because I thought without alcohol that usually comes with scent that it would be even better as a moisturizer. I have used this a week. It is very moisturizing. I use it on my legs because it makes it easy to spray my legs & rub in the product quickly. Works very well, my skin is smooth & soft. Winter into spring the heater & temperature changes can cause skin to feel dry- this instantly helps as you rub in the product quickly and absorbs into your skin without any worry of getting oil on your bedsheets from transference or on your clothing. It uses a pump spray and is vegan based. Great product. I highly recommend it. When life is busy this helps you moisturize your skin effectively & soothe parched skin immediately so you can go about your day feeling great & looking great as quickly as possible. A little goes along way, after using it a week, it looks like I haven’t used hardly any.
