This is exactly what I needed for my Mega S. The plastic one that is stock is horrible and the first part to fail usually. The bearing rips right out of the plastic and becomes part of the motor shaft.Now keep in mind two things when using this on the Mega S. The stem that holds the spring has to be removed. It rendered the spring effect unusable on the extruder. So that's no good. I simply ground it right off. No issues. Seems to be aluminum so that's good.The second issue is that the wheel that cups the filament must be perfectly inline. So gear sprocket location on the motor shaft is crucial. Other that that, the bearing has stayed!!!

Installed on Artillery Genius, alignment was off a bit. Arm seems well made and machined. The bearing for the filament pressure roller failed after just 2 months.

I was able to get this item and tested. is as they said in the description. The product is metal and it does work great when trying to pull the filament down. I would recommend this product.

This is a straightforward upgrade for the plastic idler arm that came with my printer. Yet other vendors manage to mess it up, either by not including all the pieces needed, or using inferior parts. This vendor provides exactly what's needed, with good quality.What's not to like?

This product fell apart after two months. I did not even run more than 5 print jobs with it, and it failed causing poor extrusion and incomplete prints. what a waste of money and time. It is only guaranteed for 30 days so no chance of returning or replacing it. the worst part is they showed good reviews on amazon, so I purchased two and they both failed.
