AS far as I can tell the Benfotiamine is working fine. My doctor recommended it topossibly help weight gain. I am 77 years old and underweight so she (my doctor)thought they would help. I do not have much of an appetite, but these capsulesare easy to swallow and I have been taking one at lunch every day for about 3 months.No side effects that I know of.

I’m a diabetic for 39 years. I have neuropathy in my feet. Since I’ve been taking this supplement the tingling and numbness is so much better. I do not miss a day of taking it.

I've been taking for a month, sugar still high. I'll see if it does anything but was recommended by someone else.Update: still taking it a few months later. My sugar is still high but the b1 is giving me some energy.
