8" James Hardie HARDIETRIM Corner TABS (50 PER Carton)

These hidden fasteners are a game changer. With concrete trim boards, as with the siding, fewer penetrations to the weather is important.My carpenters like to do things how they always have and set these aside at first, face nailing my Hardie trim. I let them know that the decision wasn't theirs to make and got reluctant compliance in using these corner tabs as well as the Hardie trim tabs wherever possible.Mind you, Hardie trim is heavy, and this magnifies on long corner boards, but the end result is cleaner and better protected from moisture and weather than the first corner that was face nailed.This should equate to a longer product life with lower maintenance. It is also a much cleaner look.These are expensive, so do the math and only order what you need. You will likely need to over purchase since they come in boxes of 100, but the extra pieces can be easily cut down into trim mounting tabs.Bottom line, after getting used to these, my carpenters liked the product and the clean look. There is no concern at all as to their ability to hold these heavy boards in place either.Highly recommended.

The only reason I did not rate this 5* is because of the price. Other than that they are good.
