Never thought something like a sponge would stand out enough to write a review. I have to wash dishes by hand and often sponges fail from silverware and knives.Grocery store sponges have gotten expensive and they take up so much space, I couldn't believe the size of these when they arrived, I thought I received business card samples! I can store them in a kitchen drawer and they take up almost no room! Once run under water they pop up to regular sponge size. They last me as long as Scotts or any other brand, they actually don't fall apart as rapid either. I haven't noticed any weird odors or feel, in fact I used to have to microwave the store ones more often due to odor, with these I really haven't at all. They are very absorbent and hold soap/suds well, while being easy to rinse.Overall a superior sponge I would definitely recommend! Great value!! Does what a good sponge needs to do! I'll be getting more to have for general cleaning purposes as well.

This is a useful sponge. It has held up well. No falling apart, no pieces falling off. It works well, and if rinsed and put up to dry is ready for the next day. I like it and will buy more when needed. Still using the first one.

I was really shocked when my sponges arrived as they had been compressed in some way and they were each about the thickness of card stock! However as soon as I put them in water they plumped up just like the photo and became nice, full sponges. I was surprised. I did end up buying a second package a while later though. Why? Because I had put the remaining dry sponges in their packet away somewhere and couldn't find them as they were so small! I didn't mind though as the price was good and I liked them once they plumped up.

I’d give these 5 stars for the quality of the sponges, but there is an error on the page that confused me when I ordered them. ($0.52 / Count) is incorrect. I was comparing these with my usual O’Cellos and believing the price comparison, I thought I was getting 12 sponges instead of six. I’ve accepted this as an error, though it still hasn’t been corrected. The sponges are great, but I’ve since gone back to my O’Cellos, even though it entertained the grandkids to see the “cards” turn into sponges under the tap.

Work like any other sponge: wipe up spills easily, wash dishes etc but storage of the unused sponges is great… they are flat! Don’t expand until wet. Great value, too.

Buy these. This was my first go around with natural cellulose sponges and I have no idea why manufacturers changed to the petroleum product ones, because these are far superior.They come as a thin, pre expanded sheet and poof up in water. I'm still using my first one at almost 2 months. I'll never by the commercial ones again.

I use the sponges around the kitchen. Storage is great cuz they remain compressed until they get wet.

The sponges are so convenient because they are dehydrated and compressed making for easy storage. The sponge is a bit smaller than a regular size sponge which was fine for me, but there is a slight odor, even after they have been used for a while.

These sponges come looking like playing cards because they are so thin and small, but when you add water they grow to the size of a normal kitchen sponge like the kind that used to be common in supermarkets but are recently hard to find.. I like these better than the scrubbing kind that are yellow on one side and green on the other because there is no danger of scratching my stone and porcelain surfaces. For the bathroom, these are ideal for cleaning sinks and tubs because they fit easily into my hand for manipulating into corners. The only time I would ever use anything larger would be to clean the floor on hands and knees or maybe for a large shower stall. For everyday cleaning these are great.

I was actually after a much thicker sponge for a craft project, so ended up using these in my kitchen and they are great and thicker than i thought
