We put about 60 of these in our new house. They were all super easy to install. The junction boxes are ample size and didn’t have any trouble putting all the wires in them. All of them worked and worked great.Fast forward about 8 months. Two of them started flickering. I replaced them with some extras I had left over. That was super easy. Just unplug them from the junction box wire and plug in a new one. No wiring needed. I contacted Lediary, the company selling them. Told them what happened and they honored the 5 year warranty. No questions asked. I got two new replacements about 2 days later. Absolutely with the money. You seriously cannot go wrong. I would definitely buy them again and again. Worth it.

6 of them did not work

We wanted a simple way to have recessed lighting in our living room and kitchen. These were extremely simple to install and easy to change the color temperature. I told our contractor one color and once he installed them all I changed my mind, so the temperature selection had to be changed. Thank goodness it was simple to do it.Con: one of the lights came damaged (the wiring box smelt like it was burnt) so I don’t know if someone had returned these after damaging one or not, but that was kind of a bummer since we needed all of the lights for our project. Also, I notice when paired with a dimmer switch sometimes when turning on the light it has trouble turning on occasionally. I would have to press the switch more than once to get the lights to turn on. Don’t know if that’s the lights or the wiring. Overall though, we’re happy with how they look.

The product is great, but the install was a little more involved than just cutting with a hole saw. The product requires a 6.25” hole, not a standard 6” hole. For ease, I opted to leave at 6” and will have to resize later or caulk around the light because it sits about an 1/8 inch lower than flush with the ceiling.

- Transformer box on 2 of the 16 lights did not function other than on the high setting. This made them too bright for my requirement.- The seal / gasket around the light is absolutely terrible. It easily stretches / tears.- For the lights that work and the seal is not damaged the lights are not too bad. Just handle them carefully and don’t remove them once installed too frequently!
