The light makes a big difference for tonsil stones, much easier. It works well and there's extra batteries.

I was browsing Insta reels when I found out the name of the tool people were using to scrap tonsil stones out of their mouths and came across this on Amazon. I've never cleaned out tonsil stones manually before so I decided that this was an affordable option to see what would work for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find all sorts of tools in the kit at my disposal since I didn't know what would work for me. The first few days, I used the syringe to help me shoot into areas I wouldn't have otherwise been able to reach, and was able to get a few small stones out this way. Occasionally when I can see the stones, the metal one is great for reaching in and getting them out. The light tool is cool, but not particularly helpful if you're using it to scrap out the stones since it's short and doesn't offer a great shape to push them out. I like to use it occasionally to light up the area I'm planning to tackle though.

Easy to use, happy with purchase

I had been trying to dislodge a tonsil stone in my left tonsil for over a month. I purchased the Tonsilclin glass cupping device and paid over $40.00 and could not use it, it was too bulky and hard to manipulate. I searched, watched a YouTube video and read the reviews on Amazon’s tonsil stone removal kit. I purchased it and tried it earlier today. Picked some out with the sliver scoop, but could still feel it and taste it. Got that syringe, put water in it and squirted in my tonsil socket and it pushed it right out. If you suffer with tonsil stones run as fast as you can and buy this kit, it’s a game changer, it works and is much cheaper. I highly recommend this product!

The only thing I would really want out of the bundle is just the metal prod with the ball and cupped sides, worked really well, everything else is just worthless imo.

I had a good experience with this product. The little metal scoop tool works like a charm and is very gentle. I just had to gently capture the stone and it easily released. The lighted tool is perfect. I was trying to figure out how to insert the batteries when I realized the battery is already in it - just turn on the switch. Note that at first you might think that the light won't do much. However, once you get it close to your tonsil, you will see that it lights up the area perfectly. I used it today and found another stone that was hiding and easily removed it with the attached pick. The kit is neatly packaged and clean and I like the little case for the light. This is so worth the price just for the metal scoop tool alone.

So I finally had the need to use this and no I'm not going to post a yucky tonsil stone picture. However, this little blue tool with the lighted hook at the top is amazing! I can't tell you how many times I've almost choked on my finger or small qtip trying to pick them out manually. It came out so easily and I didn't have to use my phone as a flashlight since the light on the tool helped me see perfectly, and it had a far enough reach. Tonsil stones are so gross and getting them out used to be something I dreaded. Now I will be checking more often to make sure I keep it nice and clean back there.
