Fantastic purchase for small apartment!
My daughters first apartment came with TINY bedrooms. A bed alone would have taken up *all* of the floor space. (Seriously how do they call that a bedroom, it doesn’t even have a window, but that’s another story). We didn’t realize it was so tight until she started moving in. So we got this kind of last minute to give her more space. She can fit her small desk, a chair, and dresser under it and now has private space to study. The Pros: extremely sturdy, ladders at each end, not bulky. Easy to assemble. Great price. The Cons: nothing! highly recommended!!

Awesome bed setup to save space!
This bed is very cool looking and the space underneath it is far more usable than I thought it was going to be :-)My girls are 6 and 7, and we wanted to upgrade them from their twin over twin bunk bed (where they shared three bottom bunk anyway, since they refuse to separate whilst they sleep). I looked around Amazon for a bed that would give them a hang out space underneath it, but everything seemed really short. Not this bed... this thing is taller than me by a lot (I'm 5'2"). I literally can't see if my kids are in when they're sleeping, lol.As far as the assembly goes, my husband put it together in about 5hrs, but it probably would've gone faster with both of us. He conquered this beast while I put together the tv stand, assembled the television, and set up the rest of the room.Pieces are pretty heavy/sturdy, although there is definitely some wobble once assembly is complete. Thankfully, my kids are small enough that only the 7yr old moves the bed as she's climbing, but I'm really not sure how the adults writing these reviews are sleeping well. I'm heavier than a lot of 5'2" women (about 190), but I can still climb the ladder and get in the bed and everything (had to test it like a decent mom before I sent my kids up there). But, if I'm being honest, even with the super comfortable mattress we put up there, I'd sooner sleep on the floor than listen to the terrifying symphony of creaks coming from this bed while I tried to situate myself. For us though, this will work out just fine! Their room isn't done yet, but I'm excited, so I uploaded a couple of photos of their room so far, showing how much space it takes up from different angles. Will update as more furniture comes in to show full scale :-)

The “worse” thing about this loft bed is the price
Okay, so I took a while to write this review because of all the other reviews I read about it. I’ve had this loft for almost a month, and this is everything I’ve noticed so far. The quality is pretty solid. I got this brand and I was willing to pay this price because I work at a place that sells furniture and the brand is pretty trustworthy to me, as I am familiar with it. The only reason I didn’t buy it from my job was because the employee discount just wasn’t as good as the Amazon price. Even then, the price of this thing is a little hefty, but it’s a solid piece of furniture. I dunno what the other reviews were on about, saying it took them six hours to assemble this, but it’s definitely not a complicated build at all. I build this by myself (5’2”, 28 year old woman) in under three hours. I just read the (very clear) instructions carefully and followed them without much of a problem. I even made one huge mistake, and had to disassemble an entire side, and I still only took less than three hours. Now, if I include how long I also took to anchor the frame to the wall, it took like three hours tops. All you need is to be handy and to know how to follow picture instruction. Yes, there’s written ones as well, but everything’s pretty clear, and they even provide you with the allen keys you’ll need. The steps for the ladders are a hassle, because they’re round, not square, and they really hurt your feet after a long day. But that’s also an easy solve if you buy tube insulation at Home Depot. It’s less than $4 and you get a four pack. It also supports weight just fine. Mind you, the instructions say to only have one person sleep up there, but it supports two people just fine. I’ll be retightening the entire frame once a month, but it’s a really sturdy frame. This thing saves a lot of space in our room, and I was able to add my Ikea desk, a little bedside drawer, and a desk chair underneath it. It also gave us enough room to add a TV stand, and two bookshelves. The “worse” thing about this loft bed frame is the price, but even that can be argued. There’s some loft frames here on Amazon that are $400 (they include a desk), and people say they’re worth the price. This frame, at least for me, makes the most sense, especially if you already have all the other furniture, because it will save you space, and, if you get it on sale, it can also save you some money. I’ll come back in like six months to update on how well it holds weight, but so far, this had been an excellent purchase (: !!
