THIS IS PERFECT to blend grow out of my dark blonde with heavy almost platinum highlights!!!!!! It turned me from blonde to pretty gray! You do need to apply heavily and I leave it in for 20-30 minutes on clean hair. I do wear gloves to apply it but if it gets on my skin the color washes off easily. I use it about every 5 shampoos and use my castor oil shampoo and conditioner for other showers. I’ll use this until my gray/ dark blonde grow out is complete❤️.

I love this product. I would not even bother with coloring my hair if I did not have this product. It conditions while depositing color to keep your color super vibrant. It will stain hands, but tends to wash right off with a couple of hand washes. It does stain the shower, so I typically just wash my hair in my laundry room stainless steel sink. Highly recommend.

This stuff really works and not messy at all. Just shampoo in and it does restore your color. I had copper highlights put in and I swear literally walking out of the salon they faded. I thought I would give this a shot to see if it would bring them back up and it was amazing results just after 1 washing. I washed and left in for about 5 min and rinsed. It's worth the extra money. I have tried others and nothing has compared to this product.

I dont hate the color. actually what I really hate is the smell. to me, this stuff smells worse then a perm and makes me nauseaus and then the smell is in your hair until you was it with a different shampoo. if they would work on that then I would love it. but had to take off a star for the smell.

I hope this review helps someone else. I always find myself in a bind after highlighting my hair because as soon as I wash it, the toner comes out of the roots and they look grayish compared to my slightly warm golden blond hair. So I used a paintbrush to accurately fill in the roots w conditioner and hopped in the shower to rinse it and it made the difference. I noticed it made a few sections of my hair a tiny bit yellow further down so I used a tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide to lift it out in the places it looked too warm and quickly rinsed that too before it did any damage. Did the trick. Be careful with this method but if you’re like me and need to hack your way to the perfect blonde without immediately going back to the salon, this can really help.

So, my hair is a light-medium brown, and hasn’t been dyed in 9+ years. It’s long, falling to my waist. I used this product as directed and I could sort of tell there was some color deposit but it wasn’t all that noticeable. So I dried it completely, then put the conditioner in for about 90 minutes on my dry hair (and wrapped it up in a plastic bag) and WOW. I washed it out, shampooed and then conditioned it again, and it was a gorgeous jewel toned purple. I was impressed with how it’s turned out and it’s been about two washes since I used any viral and it’s still noticeable in my hair, although not as intense as it was. Given what others had said, I didn’t have a lot of hope that it would do anything, but thought I’d give it a shot as I have always wanted to color my hair fun colors but have been too worried about the commitment and damage it would do to my brunette hair. Definitely make sure to use some leave in conditioner to keep your hair feeling healthy because it’s still damaging but for a very once in awhile thing, it’s totally worth it!

It’s more of a 3.5 rating for me as it was an amazing in between when my semi permanent dye would wash out…however…it’s been many washes and many weeks now and my hair is still pink…I know it’s not from the salon semi permanent dye because I have done that before and it washed out in 4-6 washes….but my hair is now still VERY pink weeks after using this…kinda wanted it to wash out so I can dye it a different color lol. Oh well I guess

I have burgandy hair, this stuff keeps me out of the Salon . I only go for roots and trimming because my color is great .I use ruby red but I think I wanna switch to red for more red tone than pink/red tone . This stuff stains your scalp if you don't scrub really good after wearing in for 15 minutes. What do you expect, it's pigment. So scrub your scalp good. Wear gloves if you mind colored hands . Normally comes out by the time I'm done with my process anyways . I don't wash my hair frequently, once to twice a week and it holds up . Looks faded after I wash it but not as bad as it would if I never used this so it maintains it after every wash . I use this every week ! It's lasted me 6 months . The conditioner is the best part, but you might as well get both . I always get compliments ♡ it's really some bomb stuff. With hair color takes lots of care, time,and some money but it was worth it . I use a good shampoo and conditioner (pureology) still, so idk if I'd trust this only to clean my hair and give it the nutrients it needs. But I do think it will still do without good shampoo .
