After watching a couple mustang odometer diy fix videos I ordered this one. Mostly because the fix it kits were much the same but this one included the blue lights at the same price point. It's not a complicated process if you take your time. Short review - it works fine, does what it's supposed to do, and the blue lights do look better than the stock white lights.

i bought this kit for my 1998 cobra. install is a breeze if you reference an online video. the LEDS im not sure about. some didnt light back up and i wasnt gonna take the whole cluster out and go thru that again but the ones that lit up were a decent blue color. i'd say if the stock lights work just replace the gears. the review is 5 stars for the gears and the quality of the gears. this kit with the lights was cheaper than kits with just gears.

I bought a 96 Ford Mustang and odometer did not work. I bought this kit and it’s back to working. I really like the lights around the speedometer. It is a great deal. I had estimates for over $100 to have it repaired! Make sure to watch plenty of videos on how to do this.

Very straight forward. You can find many videos online on how to replace. I found that the gear on the motor was perfect and I chose not to replace that but just the larger gear that was falling apart.There have been mentions of the LED bulbs not working.LED's have a polarity to them. When I first installed them I had 2 of them not working. I pulled the socket out of the back of the cluster and spun them 180 degrees and they worked perfect.Over all a great product and would purchase again!

I thought it would be the same blue as the stock cobra had. Different blue. But it works and is really bright. If you don't care about the original stock color behind the dash , then grab'em. they work perfect.

shipped to me immediately, pulled the dash unit out in about 5 minutes, disassembled, and had it back together in the car in a total of about 30 minutes. YT videos show the process. Mine was all broken up and I dug out the old plastic chips and pieces. Just be sure the spindle is installed with the larger base closest to the motor - leave a small gap between that and the motor itself. The blue lights look good!Note: Initially I had installed it, and found it still didn't work. Then I replaced the vehicle speed sensor at the back of the transmission - so I had both problems, but now it works great!

Fixed odometer right up and the LED’s look so cool in my gauge cluster. Would buy again!!
