Of course it's a blunt end. It's a soft rope as well. It's for practice not battle. Although it's still dangerous.

How do you attach the flag?

Not a flag, the pieces of cloth are used for displaying the rope dart...

Where do I attach the cloth? Do I cut a hole in the center of the fabric and simply thread the rope through?

What I did was , take one corner of the fabric and tie it around one of the rings . I tie mine to the ring that the dart is attached to .
