Das Produkt färbt den Teig in einem Grauton . Trotz mehrfacher Produkt Zugabe keine Farbveränderung zum lila Ton. Das ist der erste Farbton von dem Hersteller der mich enttäuscht. Ebenso enttäuschend ist das der Artikel nicht reklamiert werden kann.

I am a cake maker and am so happy I have found Sugarflair food dyes!! They are brilliant. You only need a very small amount to turn cake batter or buttercream icing purple. Much better than supermarket food dyes, those usually turn everything a greyish lilac and you'd need the whole tube/ bottle before getting anywhere near a purple and then it usually remains a medium purple at best! They also mix really well with ready to roll icing if you are covering your cake with fondant. I use these food dyes when making cake toppers too. I can rely on them colouring the fondant to the desired colour. The paste is nice and thick so the fondant remains stiff but pliable and doesn't turn it to mush. I like to use the tip or handle of a tea spoon to get the paste out of the bottle. High recommended!!

Just carful with dose

I order 2 tubs as I was unsure how much of the paste I would use to dye the buttercream icing needed for 24 cupcakes. I used 3/4 of one of the little tubs and they turned out a nice soft purple colour. I didn't add anymore because it looked close enough to the colour of Ariel's clamshell bra - was making Little Mermaid inspired red velvet cupcakes for a friend. Was a better job than any liquid dye could have done and I have some to spare :)
