Dell battery replacement
Got this to replace the battery in my wife’s laptop it’s the perfect battery for it it’s not to expensive and it was easy to install and even came with the tools to install it with. Didn’t want to spend double or triple on a battery that has a brand name on it and I’ve had just as good of luck with these as I have with a name brand

Perfect replacement
Easy install with the included tools and works as expected. Can't report on durability but appears to be a good replacement battery for Dell 7490 60w.

JUNK!
Purchased 2 Jul 24. Fine initially. After a month, Dell's orange "unhappy battery" light started flashing. Charge life plummeted. Today, 10 Sep 24, noticed the notebook's case has swollen open and that the battery is fully dead.Please be smarter than I was--pay attention to this item's negative reviews, do not buy and help put this seller out of business. We don't need such frustration!

Direct fit and great value.
Installation was easy and the battery cable fit nicer than other batteries I've replaced on 7490's.

First one was swelled. Second one was fine.
The first one that arrived was bubbled up. We ordered a replacement and the next one was fine. So far it works as good as the original did when it was new.

Great battery option
Battery on my Dell laptop was slowly dying so l order this replacement battery. Watch a couple of videos on YouTube to learn how and went to it. No problems and it took less than 20 minutes. Be careful with the tiny screws

Huge hassle for a defective battery
The installation was easy and this battery seemed great at first. But in less than a week it couldn't decide if it was a 10-hour battery or a 2-hour battery. My computer was in extreme battery saver mode, frequently shutting down completely and closing all my programs even when I did nothing but close the lid (which is programmed to do nothing). The "7x24h Online Free Technical Support" was slow to respond and unhelpful when they did. I ended up having to travel with a different computer because this battery was so unreliable.Because of my trip, I missed the 30-day easy return window on Amazon. When I contacted the seller to ask them to honor their "365 Days no-questions-asked full money back or Free Exchange Guarantee", they told me I had to buy another battery from them before they could refund me for the defective one. I declined. After more back and forth, they refunded my money only AFTER I said I would report them to Amazon for false advertising if they didn't. You shouldn't have to debate a seller to get them to honor a guarantee they put in writing on the product page.One star for a defective battery and convoluted tech support. Second star for eventually getting a refund.
