Comfortable, seamless and good qality. I have tried them on routes with rain and also with sun an these socks keep my fett protected feom moisture. I can use them with any type of shoes.

Both are size Mens Large.The biggest difference is that the Swiftwick is a "compression sock", so it is expected to be a bit smaller to achieve a compression effect. Update: Defeet now offers such compressions socks.Both are good socks. I just want to highlight the size difference. For my size 44 EU sized feet, the Defeet sock is a bit loose on my feet (when new), and the Swiftwick stretches to fit me.5/12/20 UPDATE: The Defeet socks shrunk down to fit me perfectly. I don't tend to put them in the dryer but every once in a while it happens. These are now my favorite socks. I've probably purchased 25 pairs over the past 6 years and wear them out cycling, I'm a beast on a bike! Nothing lasts forever and I'm pleased with the amount of service each pair provides. And now that I'm working from home these are my everyday socks, casual dress socks, and fun dress socks.

Have had a very hard time finding a replace for my XL Wigwam Ironman Tri Qtr socks no longer sold. Those socks were absolutely bullet proof and XL fit my size 13/14 sometimes wide feet perfectly. Unfortunately my 10 year old stash of 15 pairs are end of life. These DeFeet Aireator socks are a pretty good replacement. I've been wearing them for a month and so far so good. I just ordered 4 more pairs.First the good:-They're not compression-Finally an XL that fits my BIG feet perfectly-They stay in place above the ankle without slipping down or being too tight-Many interesting colors/designs. I've ordered these as well as, "Attack" and "Zombie"The bad:-Expensive

Part of the reason I bought these socks is because I liked the look, with the lighter and darker contrasting shades of blue. They are MUCH darker in reality than in the picture, so there is not really much contrast at all -- But they are still nice socks. Just sorry they weren't true to their advertising.

Keeps blisters away. I am a biker and standardized on these years ago.

I've been using Defeet bicycle socks for running socks for over 10 years and I love them. Other running socks are either to loose or don't cover up my heel enough. Many running socks can fall down off your heel and you end up getting a blister. Not these. Tight and always completely cover my heel. Last weekend I even ran in what I would call "Mudder" conditions for 4 miles. Average running surface was 4-6 inches of mud and that was where there wasn't standing water 6-8 inches deep. The socks got wet, but not loose. Why Defeet doesn't market these socks to runners I don't understand. I can bike with almost any sock, but hands down, this sock is the best for running. I want to shout it from the roof top.
