iBasso IT00 Audiophile in-Ear Monitor Earbuds for Professional-Quality Sound, Graphene Earbuds (Blue)

I was looking for a universal in-ear monitor (IEM) to use at my desktop but also for occasional travel. My budget started at $100 but I eventually realized that the combination of sound signature, sound quality, build quality, and comfort at that price was not quite what I desired. It wasn’t until I increased my budget to $200 then to $300 that I found the feature set I sought. After much reading and researching over a couple of months I narrowed my choices to the Moondrop Kanas Pros, BGVP DM6, iBasso IT01s, and Massdrop Plus Universal IEMs. All are excellent IEMs, but based on the reviews I thought the iBasso IT01s best suited me.The IT01s has a sound signature that suits my music preferences, a premium copper cable with a silver-plated shield, 2.5mm MMCX balanced connection AND a 3.5mm single-ended adapter, a large selection of silicone and foam eartips, removable screens for ease of cleaning, a sturdy metal carrying case, and a simple but very attractive design.The MMCX connectors were a little hard to snap on, but they felt secure. I haven't tried removing them yet as I have no need to do so. The IT01s are a little large and don't sit quite flush to my ears, but they are light and comfortable. They don't completely isolate from outside noise, but that's okay by me.The only concern I had before purchasing the IT01s was that I've read that these IEMs require a 200hr burn-in for optimal sound quality. I'm not certain if the burn-in made much of a difference. It may make a difference for someone with more discerning hearing, or with better aural memory. I thought it sounded great out-of-the-box, at different times during burn-in, and after burn-in.Although the IT01s costs more than some of the other IEMs I considered, I don't feel a need to replace the stock cable or eartips, which likely would have been the case for the other IEMs and increase the total cost. In this sense, I feel that the IT01s with the included accessories is an excellent value. Good job iBasso!So, for now, my search for a universal IEM ends with the iBasso IT01s. Hopefully I won't get the upgrade bug for a while!

I like the simple design and snug fit. Don't get any bleed of sound outside the ears also which is a plus. Using these as vocalist in-ear monitors. I find the sound quality to be very easy on the ears with a good balance of frequencies, nothing poking out or sounding harsh. Overall these are clear and detailed with a high quality sound. The cable is also very high quality. You shouldn't need to purchase an alternative cable like you do with some in-ear monitors.

Um, I don't know why Amazon wants me to comment on thickness or sheerness, it's not a negligee. It was a very close call between these iems and the Moondrop Starfield. Even after a fair amount of burn-in, these had just a bit too much treble for my taste. Now, if you WANT a pretty high treble response, these are great. Airy, good soundstage, comfortable. The cable is great, and I love that it's a 2.5 balanced WITH an adaptor to 3.5, all audiophile headphones should do this. Really nice sound, just wanted less treble. And, I only did about 50 hr. of burn-in, I hear these want 100, but, I couldn't keep them long enough.

iBasso these opened up the music soundstage, with a rich tone, details were crisp, bass was hard naturally and was above average in quickness, which brought enough mildly warmness into the mids, which made the vocals be filled with emotion for me, not recessed or too forward, just in that natural spot, but with a nice weight and gave realistic textures to the sounds, treble was sparkly without harshness, very lively iem, it’s as though I’m there in the audience on so many songs listening to them live. A very awesome set!The look of these iem’s are stellar, the core it came with is above average, and it’s a 2.5 with an attachment to a 3.5, the only thing I could see being a problem is how it drapes over your ear, it doesn’t conform that well over the ear, but holds its shape, others might really like this, as not to put pressure and take away from the music experience.Over-all, these are one of my favorite set of iem’s I’ve heard, I get so emerged in the music, I just drift in it, sometimes just seeing where the sounds are coming from within my mind, soaking up not only the specific sounds but the space that’s in-between, yes space as it shapes the sound as it flows, giving it air to take off, breathe, live, Richness! That’s what these iem’s do for me. Very well done, iBasso! Your tuners are friggin Awesome! Ty!

This review is coming from someone as a casual audio user. Product arrived in minimal packaging, spare tips and parts came in sealed bags. Everything except the buds and the case came sealed.The case is cheap but nice to have. Most of the packaging was to support the space the case took up.I haven't had much experience with most modern earbuds or earbuds around this price point but build quality seems great. Connecting the buds to the audio cable is simple enough and actually requires a good amount of effort to separate. I don't really have to worry about these things popping off and disappearing.I've only had a limited amount of time to use these but they sound great and are comfortable to wear.

These were the third pair of IEMs that I purchased from this manufacturer. I obviously like their sound. However, one of the mmcx cable connectors broke without much use at all and the manufacturer doesn’t seem interested in making things right, even after I sent them a picture of the damaged part. I would expect more for the price I paid.

I've had these for 2 years and 2 months. They are great for listening to music if you enjoy mostly neutral sound. They are crisp and clear. I haven't had any issues with the cable and keep them stored in the case. I would definitely buy again.

Un son splendide, vaux largement le prix.

For me these were the second pair of iems that I have bought and were an upgrade to a pair of blon bl03.The IT001 have a much better fit and can offer more noise isolation which is good since I dont like having loud music blasting in my ears just so I can hear it.And the sound is quite neutral. A lot more so than the bl03. It doesn't sound as open though and sometimes the music sounds like it is right in your head if you are listening to songs with more bass.The only thing I find lacking is the bass and sub bass. There is no punch to it and it just feels weak. But they sound really nice to listen to female vocals and things that focus more on the mids.I do recommend you invest in some foam eartips and a better cable though. It just makes it more of a comfortable experience since the cable that comes with it is a bit too firm and rubber eartips fatigue your ears.

Ho sostituito i gommini con misura piu' grande . Adesso e' perfettamente fissa nel padiglione auricolarecon bassi profondi e alti tintinnanti. Ottimo prodotto.

No tengo experiencia en Iems, en orejeros si tengo bastantes cosas de gama media y alta, pero queria introducirme en el mundillo de los Iems y con este la experiencia esta resultando bastante buena, no tienen el perfil que busco, pues realzan bastante los bajos y medios altos para ser considerados planos, pero suenan muy limpios y detallados, mucho mejor que varios Kz que he comprado anteriormente que sonaban metálicos.Estéticamente me encantan, y no le pongo las 5 estrellas por que uno de los conectores no se queda bien fijado y se mueve un poco, no me parece motivo suficiente para mandarlo de vuelta, pues estéticamente esta bien y mientras no vaya a peor funcionalmente también.Han hecho que cambie un poco de opinion sobre los Iems que hasta estos creía que no eran para mi.
