Ace Case Ruger LCP Pocket HolsterMADE in U.S.A.

I love Buying "MADE IN THE USA"This was purchased for EDC of a Ruger LCP.I am a firearms instructor and have a substantial experience. This holster does an excellent job in several critical areas of concealed carry. It fits the intended firearm, like a glove. This is important from both a safety & function standpoint. The holster is well made and looks like it will hold up for years of use. Although it is slightly thicker than some other pocket holsters, it is still slim enough to provide good concealment. The slimmer holsters don't hold up to daily use for very long, so that's probably a plus for this one. They didn't put any effort into adding an extra magazine or any other "stuff" that would defeat the purpose of a small, effective, concealable holster. Carry the gun in a dedicated pocket, with no other obstacles or distractions. Carry your spare magazine, flashlight, etc. somewhere else. The friction bands around the holster do a very good job of gripping the inside of the pocket so you only get the gun when you draw. The trigger area is completely covered-which is CRITICAL! The holster keeps the firearm safe and oriented correctly so it is immediately available when needed. It does an outstanding job of preventing "printing" which the cheaper, slimmer holsters don't do.It is meant for a right hand orientation. That means the "open"side goes toward the body and the flat rectangular side goes out. Pocket holsters takes some getting used to. Practice with an UNLOADED firearm in a safe area until you become comfortable and proficient in it's use.In short. If you need a quality holster for EDC of a Ruger LCP, this holster gets it done and it's made in the USA!

I recently purchased this holster for my Ruger LCP with an attached Crimson Trace laser. My Desantis was working fine for my older LCP, but would not accommodate the laser add on.Pros:- This holster has just about a 1 cm higher fit in my pocket compared to my Desantis, with the same width and thickness. But, this holster is more rigid, so it hides the shape better for less printing. It's still wallet sized. Plus!- With the pistol holstered, I was not able to press on the outside of the holster and engage the laser. It seems stiff enough to prevent this.- As a matter of fact, it accommodated the pistol with laser. But, the small finger extension on my magazine extended out beyond the edge of the holster. It should not be an issue for printing, but a slightly wider back would be preferred.- Those two running horizontal strips you see are actually rubber running on both sides. That feature helps keep the holster in place in the pocket. That's a big positive design feature for me.- Inside the holster, it's a soft, velvety finished texture. It's not rough and will not grab your pistol and slow your draw.- The stitching is strong, and the nylon materials are thick and rugged feeling. This is a well constructed holster.Cons:- I'm a lefty, and this is for the right pocket. It's not available for the left side. I'm used to this by now.- This holster is almost perfect for the LCP. But....it's about 95% right, and 5% off of critical dimensions to make it ideal.Overall, I'm super happy with this holster. It works as I had anticipated, but with the shortfalls I was aware of from other reviews and based on my search for alternatives. I can't complain at all, because it's exactly what I expected. For the price, the overall fit, finish, and function is hard to match and can't be beat at this point in terms of alternate product availability and price point. I hope in the future they perfect this for the LCP. I won't knock off a full star, but 4.5 stars would be my actual rating for the specific cons already mentioned.

Ruger has their own holster that comes with the Ruger LCP. I bought this in advance expecting no holster. The Ruger holster allows me to place it all in my pocket without imprints or it being uncomfortable in my pocket.My first impression was that it was amazing. The I received the Ruger holster, and that was much more slim and able to fit in my pocket. While this does as advertised, it bloated up my pocket in comparison.If you need a holster, sure. Get this. Quality is their. So is the size. Definitely meant for a purse with everything stuffed inside could possibly scuff and scratch the firearm.If you need a pocket holster for the same reason you bought a pocket pistol, because you know, it was going to go in your POCKET, get the Ruger holster.

I have a back holster and carry a larger gun. It is a little bulky so I have to wear bulkier clothes when I carry it. So I wanted something else when I have to tuck in my shirts for work and other things. Someone suggested to me that I get a pocket holster for my LCP and this is perfect - seriously it slides right in and the coating on the outside holds it in my pocket so it does not want to slide around when it is in there. it also hides the signature so it doesn't look like I am carrying. It just looks like I have a wallet or something in my pocket. Very well made, I would buy another holster from this company.
