Urban CoCoWomen's Foldable Wide Brim Felt Bowler Fedora Floopy Wool Hat

This is the ultimate travel hat for sun protection. Besides travel, daily car use used to mean I had to protect my hats from getting crushed. Now I just fold it and can stow it where it isn’t crushed, hop out of the car and bingo! My hat looks great.

Very pretty and great quality

This is a proper felt hat-felt all the way through and not just a thin felt coating. There is a string to make it smaller, but it fits a 22 inch head fine. Completely flexible brim. Probably too small for most men. Will make a nice tricorn, but brim too short for a bicorn.

It clearly says inside the hat "100% Wool" and there is a drawstring inside the headband that can be tighten to make it smaller - without tightening it the hat is large in my opinion. I have a medium size head & had to tighten it so it didn't swallow my head. While they did arrive folded & that does create some wrinkles, it wasn't a big problem. I got two (royal blue- awesome color, & red, Nice color as well) the blue was a bit more wrinkled. But I just stuffed them with some plastic bags and let them sit for a couple days. Then I did cover the brim with a light cotton cloth and lightly steam it - but It really wasn't that necessary. For the price they are great purchase and I'm looking forward to wearing them. I tend to wear hats more in the winter months. i've noticed that when I wear a hat people pay attention to me more - what's that all about? Very happy with the purchases!!

I’m prepping my costume for our renaissance festival and I’m going as a pirate. I’ve made another pirate hat before from a black floppy hat and it turned out amazing so I knew I could do it again. This floppy hat had the perfect width brim and I can’t wait to wear this! It was lovely before I messed with it, so if you’re looking for a felt floppy hat, this could be what you’re looking for!

The hat is really cute, but it arrived folded in a small package and the creases will not come out, which causes it to be extremely floppy and not look like the picture. :( I am disappointed because it really is so cute, but it only stays for a few minutes before it droops and becomes extremely floppy. I wish it had been shipped unfolded Inna box instead :(

I thought the brim would be wider, but it was more like I wanted. I'd order again.

Too floppy, hated it, sent it back

Cute hat as is, but great for use in cosplay or costume projects! If you need a pirate hat, tricorn hat, or just a slightly different shape, you can definitely use this as a great base and mold it by hand with steam or hot water :) just let it dry in the sun for a day or so! Can verify it's actual wool based on how well it took the dye.Speaking of: it dyes well. The colour was a close match to the costume I was making (see the first image of the costume's concept art), but was slightly too bright in hue for the fabric I purchased for the rest of the outfit. However, I was able to easily dye the hat a deeper shade of red with a tiny bit of Rit black and green dye, a large metal pot, vinegar, hot water, and dish soap.I was also able to mold the top of the hat while it was wet into a more tricorn shape by hand on a foam head (the green tape you see is where I added fabric and cotton to the head so it closely matched my own measurements). I sewed the brim up and into shape as well. Over all worked great for my project!! Side note: the gold details you see is iron-on vinyl and not included in the purchase.

I bought this hat for a family photo session and didn't want to spend a fortune knowing I probably wouldn't wear it much. It arrived in an envelope folded in quarters so it was quite creased and floppy. After reading some of the other reviews I decided to steam it with my iron. I placed it over a bowl and ironed the brim flat and pressed the wrinkles out of the crown against the bowl. The wrinkles came out perfectly but it was still a bit floppy so I sprayed it with a bit of fabric stiffener (Aleene's brand) and it worked great! It made a cheap hat look way more expensive and I received a ton of compliments! It's made of real wool and fits on the small side (I have a fairly big head) but worked well for what I needed. I actually look forward to wearing it again!

I am quite happy with this purchase, the hat fis very well . The material is of good quality and the colour is as shown. It immediately took back its shape as it was folded upon receipt.All in all quite happy with my purchase. May buy in another colour.

It's really pretty, they were careful with packaging as to not damage it and it fits perfect!

The brim wasn't as big as I had hoped, but overall is a lovely hat.
