Cordless is the way to go
I love a cordless iron! Of course I wish it retained heat for longer before having to reheat on the base, but i think all cordless irons are the same in that regard. The recharge is fast though so by the time I’ve repositioned my clothing for the next section, it’s usually reheated already. Steam function works well. I’m happy I bought it. No more cord getting in the way.

It works great. Very good quality
This is a great iron. Gets nice and hot for when you need to iron out those folded lines. So far I really love my new iron.

Red light when off but plugged in!
Very nice iron: heats super fast, is light and easy and gets into tight seams but what is with the red light. Its probably not safe but I do leave my iron plugged in and set up at all times so my husband can quickly iron his dress shirts every morning. When the iron is off but plugged in, there is a bright red light that is super bright during the night. My husband complained and had to get used to it. I guess it could be good if you need a night light in your bedroom. Just not for me but I understand it's a safety feature.

Best iron I've ever had
Best iron I've ever owned. I've been ironing the better part of 40 years, military and law enforcement precision needed always. Now that I'm retired, I still like to keep my clothes that I have to iron sharp. This iron heats up quick, holds that heat in between returns to its base, makes lots of steam. Makes those creases sharp. I appreciate the long base cord as well. The problems that I have had with leaking has been my own fault. I didn't make sure that the cover was snapped shut all the way. All irons leak.

34 day update. Wish I could return it
After 34 days of use, exactly 4 days after the return window closed, the iron continues to shut off and the only way I can get it to heat up again, is to unplug it and plug it back in. This occurs in less than a minute of being placed upright on its heel. Considering the price I paid, I would have expected this iron to last considerably longer. Will be contacting the vendor to see if there is any recourse. When using the iron corded, it’s a nice iron. It is lightweight and glides very nicely over the fabric. Where the product fails is when it’s being used as cordless. It just doesn’t hold heat for any length of time. In a world where so much is cordless or battery operated it’s a pity they can’t come up with a decent iron.

Spaceship looking cordless iron.
It shuts off too quickly, the charger is not easy to put iron back on. Otherwise works well. steam quality is excellent when hot and has water in the tank.

Cordless Iron = Best Ever
I’m a quilter, and I iron fabric a great deal (read all the time). This has been the most delightful addition to my sewing space. Easy and very quick (literally seconds) to set on the charger base and get a “heat boost”. I like to make a good crisp binding and I just set it on the base every three or four ironing board lengths while making binding and had no loss of heat or power. Glides easily, mid to light in weight, and I love that it will steam when held vertically.
