Sony Karaoke machine now for Two
Worked great for splitting the 1/8in mono mic jack in our Sony MHC-V13 high powered speaker from one microphone into two microphones. Karaoke times two! Great product, worked as expected.

Great Device
Complete signal split with no noise.Drum machine / Guitar one amp jack.Fits standard guitar plugs side by side.Sturdy enough if not abusive.Wire type can reduce signal, also cost much more.

Seems to work fine
I just received this. I ordered it because the one I got a few months ago wasn't working. But as I was testing this, I had the same issue. I finally realized both mics need to be turned on for this to work. If you don't have an on/off button on the mics, there should be no issue. But if you do, you need to turn them both on.Now this one and the old one both work. Since this is a 2-pack, now I have 3.

Quality seems very low
I had two problems with my order. First, I ordered 2 sets (4 adapters total). But somehow Amazon put one set in my box and then another random product instead of the second set (a screen protector for a device I don'town). Both packages had a sticker with the same number. I have no idea why, but I didn't order a screen protector.Secondly, one of the two I received seems to work ok, I hope it lasts. The second one was hard to get the plug into on one side just as another review mentioned. I pushed a little harder and it went in but now it has no retention. Something must have been misaligned inside. It also seems loose on the output end, like it is out of spec (too narrow). So I paid for 4 adapters but I now have only 1 working adapter. At $6.50 ish I don't think it's worth the hassle of trying to do a return on 1/2 my order for being the wrong product and 1/4 my order for being defective. I'm pretty sure the robots that handle customer service aren't going to manage such complexity, based on past experience. So I'm far from satisfied but relegated to accepting this fate.I had purchased some very similar adapters at RadioShack years ago that still work great. It's a shame that product quality seems to continually decline. I would pay a little more for the exact product I want with decent quality. All the sellers on Amazon I think are selling copies of the same poor product so I guess you maybe can't get the good ones in this style anymore.

Ok but
It worked ok but only downside is that both mics have to be on to work

Works like in the youtube video
I purchased the splitter adapter after watching a youtube video on how to plug in 2 pieces of equipment into one amp. My son's electronic drum kit uses an amp and his friend's electric guitar also uses an amp. When both of them tried to play at the same time, only one boy could plug into the amp and the other had to sit and listen. It was frustrating to all of us and defeated the purpose of having a rehearsal, so I did some research on youtube and voilà--the splitter adapter! It works like a charm! There is some noise reduction when both pieces of equipment are plugged in, but for our purposes, that's okay.

Works ok
The input holes too close together for some of my mic cords

Does what it needs to.
Sending a guitar signal to guitar amp + effects and an octave splitter and a bass amp. Plug this into a pre-amp after it gets the signal to split it. Works well.
