Travelpro Bold - Soft Duffel Bag, Black/Navy, 22-Inch

While I have only used this bag to travel by plane a couple of times, I have probably used it about 100 times now for overnight trips. Let me tell you--it has held up great over the past 3+ years. You won't regret this purchase. Just be sure that you put a lock on it if you travel by plane so that the zippers will stay closed.

I was a flight attendant for many years, and I always used TravelPro. I recently purchased this bag, and it's great! The Travelpro Bold has plenty of room with compartments. The bright, yellow inside lining is a nice feature to make it easier to see inside opposed to a black or dark gray lining.

Love love love these bags I have now have the full set. Great for travel they are nice, tough, sturdy bags that withstand airport employees and travel!

The shoulder strap broke immediately when I connected it. I bought the bag in Sept and using it in Jan. It was too late to return to Amazon. Travel pro customer service have me options such as driving 3 1/2 hours to drop off to a repair service, mailing the bag at my expense. So it doesn't have such great customer service. I was rather disappointed that Amazon wouldn't help me considering the product was defective.

Needed a bullet bag and I am a fan of Travelpro luggage. I have an expandable carry-on size Travelpro suitcase that I have owned for close to 2 decades that has been around the world with me, and it is a champ. This bag was replacing a wonderful but worn Lark bullet bag that has also traveled the world with me that I use for weekends. Since Lark is no longer available I decided to treat myself to another Travelpro. The bag came smushed in its packaging, not a fault of the shipping company but rather in the way it is boxed. I suppose it would have sprung back to proper form out of the box, but it had a run-over look that did not start our relationship well. The bottom is properly padded and the bag is well-constructed but the opening on the top was smaller than I prefer, the pockets were minimal, and I could not see the value in this bag, at the price. I have no doubt the bag would last longer than your typical bullet bag but I also felt that, for my purposes, the bag paled in comparison with the old Lark, and I just was not happy with it. Seems I have been spoiled by Lark, and so my hunt for a replacement continues.

Too large and too heavy for my needs.. Returned it

I bought this as a Christmas present to go with a matching carry on I purchased for my son's birthday in October. The name TravelPro is synonymous with quality and these pieces are quite strong and beautiful. I can see him using these well into the future. Amazon pricing was better than anywhere else I could find online.

I have purchased several pieces in this line of luggage....all are absolutely wonderful. Each piece is extremely well constructed and durable. I was able to carry-on this duffel bag on my flight, eliminating the worry if losing checked baggage.
