Used a bunch of these for my gaming area. Solid construction, feels durable. Should help slightly with sound dampening. No obnoxious smell. Back adhesive covers the full back and they’re very sticky and I have confidence they won’t fall off. Make sure you measure everything because they’re pretty sticky and takes effort to pull off once it’s on.

Using them to darken up and sound insulate my home theater room.They look Great and easy to install.

Installed panels behind TV to block the light walls and provide additional sound protection. Very easy to install and provided the much needed dark back drop.

They stick to the wall nice and look great but they are a little thin, doesn’t bother me enough to change it. If that’s a problem you could always buy 12x12 foam board elsewhere and put it behind these.

Purchased these for surrounding my Golf Simulator. Found some other foam type panels much cheaper so ordered them and was going to return these. I used the other products for around the simulator but ended up using these panels for the ceiling. They look sharp and work well. They even hold up to golf balls that have bounced and hit them with no damage. Just ordered another 20 pack. Thanks

These panels worked well for some noise cancellation on a utility closet. Easy to work with.

The end result with this tile looks great, but we placed a major order and had some problems and issues that likely would be good for you to know when considering this product (especially for the price per sq ft compared to others).#1. We ordered 600 sq feet, and as opposed to being packed / shipped by the seller in a logical manner, the items were sent in varying quantities and multiple boxes at multiple times. This made sorting and accounting for the actual quantity of material very difficult for our team. Instead of being sent with the same quantity per box and packed and shipped in a logical manner.#2. The material can vary in color. CHECK BEFORE INSTALLING! We purchased this to complete a professional installation for a client, and our team only noticed after hanging the material. This caused an issue with our client, and since the material was already "used"...we could not move forward with a refund from Amazon. This is now causing us to purchase even more material. Absolutely check the colors match before you install these tiles. We then had to perform additional labor to best sort the varying colors to match the rest of our installation, but we now have to purchase even more material.#3. Sound Absorption Quality: Yes these look nice, but the sound absorption in our experience is not as effective as standard "black" studio foam (which is also substantially cheaper per sq ft). A consideration for your project.#4. Adhesive. We are fortunate to have professional contractors, but we had to take the extra step of applying additional adhesive to make sure these permanently stay on new dry wall.Unfortunately for such a large order we had some ideas to remedy the solution with the seller, but surprisingly and unfortunately they were not willing to work with us.Again the end result with these tiles can look great but definitely check all your tile to ensure the color matches, and be prepared to spend additional time and expense on adhesive.

I bought these for a quick wall covering and they are far better than I expected. They are textured fabric and are pretty stiff. The adhesive on the back sticks better than I expected as well, I really thought I was going to have to get the 3M adhesive spray but they hold really well. Perfect for covering a wall. If you’re buying these for sound dampening, they will be fine for stopping an echo much like carpet will. They will not block any significant noise but probably good for muffling voices.
