I use it to scrub my back - soft "bristles" soap up on the bath soap bar, and thoroughly wash my back. Easy to rinse clean and quick dry. Maybe somebody else wants a stiffer bristle, but I find this just perfect. Regards the comments about difficulty in holding handle - I assume one should rinse soap off of hand and handle to get a solid grip. (duh?)

Main issue with this is the softness of the bristles not being strong enough to feel if the skin is actually being cleaned or not.I read some other reviews about gel not working well but you need to work up the lather on the brush, not apply more, that's my observation. The handle has a bit of weight to it, so it seems to be sturdy. No chance of rot or molding like a bristle brush nor the chance of dead skin cells building up like in a loofah- which is one of the main reasons I got this. Not a complete fan of the other side of the brush as I feel it is useless but do "massage" some stiff areas of my back/shoulder as it's intended to be used.

I love the way it feels on my back, like littlefingers.

Pros: Not scratchy like the wooden ones with bristles. Not too soft - there is a bit of resistance there. Not too short and I'm a big person. Easy to clean (very important).Cons: It doesn't soak up and hang on to your cleanser, which means you have to use a lot.Next steps: I'm going to look for some kind of disposable covers that fit over it and offer a bit more scrubbing power.Buy it? I recommend it. The whole - doesn't mildew, doesn't rot thing, means a lot. And it does work. I just wish it had a little more umph!

So far I am able to reach the difficult places on my back, but the handle has little to no reinforcing and pretty flimsy. It is okay for the price, I am just worried how long it will last.

It is difficult to have a firm hold on the handle when you have hand soap on your hand and or the handle because the handle is silicone and becomes slippery from soap.Also brush head could be larger snd made more rectangular/oval in shape.

I bought this back scrubber as a replacement and was excited that it was silicone. My first reaction up receiving it was that it was surpringly weighty. The bristles were very soft, and the backside didn't inspire me at all.When I used it, I was a little disappointed. I was looking for a good scrubber that would give me the feeling of a good back scratch and exfoliation. The soft bristles really just kind of mushed around. Surprisingly, the back side was the better side, though more like a massage than a scrub. Overall, I'm disappointed, but that's pretty specific to my specifications.
