This is perfectly made - and if you have been to the Treasures of the Church traveling exhibition of relics, it matches closely to the detail and presentation of the original relics. A third class relic is one that has touched a first class relic, and this gives you a touchstone - forever - to your patron saint. The history of the miracles of the saints has long demonstrated/documented the power of prayer combined with veneration of these relics. My children instantly recognized the value of having their saint with them everywhere they go - and through all the experiences of their lives as teenagers. Since my prayers accompany these relics and our teenagers who wear them - we are grateful that this these are being made so well and are sold here where we can have access to them through the Mystics of the Church store. Extremely beautiful locket! Charming!

I purchased this for my mother's 80th birthday. She has never received a relic, but she adores St. Therese. She is losing her sight and this was such a perfect gift for her. She's able to hold the locket as she prays and it brings her so much joy.The package was delivered in a timely manner and was exceptionally wrapped.
