Q: Is the screen usable in direct sunlight?

I beg to differ. I am a geologist I have tried using this outdoors and on my center console boat - it is totally useless in sunlight - you can't see anything but reflections - the screen is useless for outdoors and navigation in the sunlight. I put a matte screen protector on it and I still can't see it in the sunlight. I also have a Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 and the screen that comes standard with it is easily visible in bright light. The Galaxy Active Pro is superior to the Panasonic Toughpad in every way, EXCEPT the screen!

That second number in the IP67 tells you how waterproof it is. (IP=Ingress Protection; the first number is how safe from solids; the second number is how safe from water ingress). 7 = Ingress of water in harmful quantity shall not be possible when the enclosure is immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to 1 m of submersion).

Q: Where on the tablet is the micro SD slot? There is no manual, and i don't see it.

The rear casing comes off. It's a snap on cover. Then you will see both the sd slot and sim slot for cellular models.
