SUNReplacement Impeller for SUNSUN Aquarium Canister Filter (HW302/HW402B)

After a recent clean and replacing of some filter media, existing impeller had gotten annoyingly noisy. What a difference this new impeller made. Pump is now quieter than it's ever been.

My canister filter was making a noise every now and then you would hear the motor come on and it sounded bad and was loud. The filter continued to work, but that sound was bad and it would eventually ruin the canister filter itself.Also, when you go to put the new one in or go to clean out the water in the filter canister. Put some Vaseline on the o- ring to get a seal. The canister filter doesn't always seal right and can be aggravating. Vaseline will create the perfect seal. If it doesn't seal properly, you didn't add enough Vaseline

This impeller didnt fit even thought the packaging says it fits exactly what I have, the picture is not what i received either. Unfortunately I didnt get around to changing out the old impeller right away and my return period expired, BEWARE of the item.

I got the wrong impeller. The magnet rod was a little too big. The pin that hold the impeller came in 2 pieces instead of one whole piece. Now the impeller sometimes won't spin because the impeller is too big, it gets stuck touching the wall of the motor magnet.Gave it another try and purchase another impeller. I finally got the right now and I added it to my list so I can buy again later on. Works 100% for HW-402BUpdate 2: It rattles like a Mother Flower..... Whatever I do, it rattles. It's not just because of the impeller. Both the HW-402b and the Impeller is just bad design.
