Great device
I use this in conjunction with my Audio-Technica AT-2005 (that I also purchased from Amazon) and the outputs go to my Audio Buddy preamp and then into my Yamaha MW12 USB mixer and the other output goes down to my TC-Helicon Voicetone Harmony G-XT guitar / vocal processor, and the output of that goes into the second channel of my MW12. Now, when I want to have just a 'dry' audio signal, I turn on Channel 1 on the mixer or if I need some vocal processing, reverb, harmonies, etc. I turn off channel 1 and turn on channel 2... NO SWITCHING mic cables any more! This microphone splitter works great!

well built, good audio, compact
This is fine for a home studio if not more serious applications as well. I does not have cheap construction at all and does what it is supposed to do. Perhaps a symphony of vintage instruments and $5000 microphones would desire improved audio specifications (maybe) from expensive active solutions, but this provides fine sound quality even on acoustic guitar using fine microphones. Being passive there is no added noise and it picks-up no hum.

This device does what it's designed to do. Note ...
This device does what it's designed to do. Note however that is NOT transformer isolated. For that you need to spend a little more and get the Rolls MS20 Mic Splitter (also passive, but transformer isolated)

Does what it's supposed to do!
I use this to split one microphone to two separate mixers, and it does an amazing job! Both mixers provide phantom power, but the block does its job and so there is no interference. I have encountered no power issues of any kind running this set up, and cannot notice any decrease in signal strength. HIGHLY recommend!

Love it!
This does exactly what I need it to do: split my Shure Beta sm58 stage mic into my personal mixer (that I use to make sure I can always hear my own vocal and my bass amp signal clearly) and also into the house mixer. I have no issues whatsoever. Previous to buying this, I used a Y splitter and that didn't work. I got no sound from one of the feeds. This JIBY box is perfect for the job! I'm relieved I finally found the right gear.

Built well, inexpensive and sounds great!
The product is built well and splitting the mic input does not lessen the volume of the two resultant outputs. Couldn’t be easier to use! Love it!

Caution if using phantom power
I tried using this to channel input from one Sennheiser shotgun mic, which uses phantom power, to two different Yamaha powered mixers which are used at separate times (i.e., only one is on at a time). The reason for this is that two different groups use the same mic but at different times with different sound rooms located in the same building. However, because one of the outputs is isolated (transformer), the phantom power from the second Yamaha mixer (the one that goes through the transformer) does not reach the mic. It's a good product and well built, at a reasonable price, but did not work for what I needed. I'll keep looking.

Inexpensive “Y” box
This a very nicely built “Y” adapter box with the addition of a phantom power block. This device will not provide isolation as you would get from a transformer based unit, but it will work in a pinch.
