After twelve hours on my feet at the Royal, unrolling the Inofia Original three-foot hybrid felt like a reward. Just over ten inches of pocket springs topped with memory foam give the sensation of a firm, obliging cloud, the sort Glasgow almost never sees. The SmartAir knitted cover stays reassuringly cool, so I do not wake up sweltering even when the Labrador sneaks under the duvet.Edge-to-edge support holds its own when the children climb aboard for bedtime stories, although the border does dip a little if I perch on it for too long. Motion transfer is minimal, which is welcome, yet a faint rubbery smell hung around during the first couple of nights. It cleared faster than a passing Scottish shower, but a brief airing is still sensible. Flipping the mattress is definitely a job for two, because it is far from light.Overall, the balanced medium firmness, cooling fabric, and sheer comfort easily outweigh those small drawbacks. For the money, it feels like a shrewd purchase that should see me through many restful mornings, alarm clock permitting.

So far so good, arrived on time and nicely boxed up which surprised me somewhat as this is fully sprung mattress. It was a lot heavier than I imagined which is not a bad thing as you know that it contains solid materials and not just lightweight foams to bulk it up. I have to say that on my own I could not 'slide' it out of the box at one end as instructed as it was such a tight fit so I carefully cut along one long side. It is dispatched rolled up flat in a vacuum packed bag which made me a bit wary of what would happen once the vacuum seal was broken. Now whether by accident or design it started to slowly unroll itself accompanied by creaking and squeaking sounds as soon as the long edge of the box was cut open, at this point I was expecting an explosion and stood well back not wanting to be pinned to the wall. My imagination was running riot with visions of opening one of those 10 man inflatable dinghies inside a car. You then have to un-roll the the plastic wrapping as you push it away from you, this starts to make holes in the inner vacuum bag and it expands much more and lies fairly flat in side that inner bag. It is still quite compressed until you use the 'provided' safety tool to slit the bag fully open and remove it from the mattress. That it other than waiting the recommended 72 hours before laying on it, not really sure as to why it is that long but its something to do with the release of manufacturing fumes and allowing the memory foam to expand properly. After two days the mattress seemed solid enough and had reached its full height within about 20 hours, it does that almost immediately but after about a day the firmness increases.Overall the mattress looks really nice and size wise was perfect for my Double bed, it is a little soft near the outer edges as you sit on it (but I am a big guy) nice and firm once you are lying on it, not to hard and not too soft. I have no complaints so far about the comfort or quality and the price was good. I would recommend this mattress and don't forget to treat yourself to a new fitted sheet as these are a full 12" plus in depth so your existing sheets may not fit.

Amazed by the quality. We bought this mattress as our old one you could feel the springs in some places. We absolutely love it - has the perfect thickness and firmness for a good night sleep.The foam is great- if somebody is moving on one side,it won't disturb the other person which is a plus from us.Overall we feel is a very good buy,regarding the quality and especially what we paid for it.
