They float!
These work great until the anchor boy (me) leans over to check the anchor harness and “plop” one set falls into the ocean! They float, but the salt water was too much for them. We will get a replacement one for sure. Great for communication so you don’t have to yell at each other and everyone in the marina can hear. Instead, you can quietly be passive aggressive or give your captain a hard time without everyone hearing.

Marriage Savers
Marriage savers, is what we were told. They are great and a must have for docking larger vessels. We have a 50 foot LOA motor-yacht and it’s obviously a little challenging docking. No screaming and yelling necessary with these! Not cheap but worth it in the long run.

Awesome for side by side adventures
Purchased these a a gift for my hubby as we enjoy side by side adventures but can't talk much as it is hard to hear. Used these and it was great! Didn't have to talk loud but it sounded just like we were in a silent room sitting next to each other. It was awesome!

Mostly good, some quirks
My wife and have a set of these with the single ear cups we use for docking and anchoring communication on our sailboat. Pros: Plenty of battery life Good audio quality Nice storage case Adjustable and pretty comfortable Mute function is great Quirks: Over the head design feels less secure, especially when looking downward Power button on the remote set is odd to operate. It should be a physical switch like the main.

We aptly call these "marriage savers"
First of all, the sound quality of these headsets is fantastic! Using these, we're able to communicate gently with one another when backing the trailer, docking the boat, or climbing the mast. This is so much nicer than yelling at one another (I'm sure others at the dock appreciate it too). I gave these 4 stars for comfort. It's not that their uncomfortable, they are just too large for my tiny head. They fit my husband fine, but I have to come up w/creative ways to keep them on my head when outside the helm station for fear they'll fall into the drink or down from the mast onto the deck. As far as battery life, we learned quickly that leaving the batteries installed when not use was a no-no. When we went to use them to dock our boat, the batteries were dead! BTW, this is clearly outlined in the instruction manual... Now, we remove the batteries every time we finish using the headsets. We can get 3 uses out of them before they start beeping (indicating they require charge). The cost of these were w/in our budget, so we are happy to charge them every third use. The headsets come in a very nice/ample sized storage case. The case is plenty large enough to store not just the headsets, batteries & charger, we are able to store other items in the case as well (ex: sail & cold weather gloves). It is my opinion that this a great purchase and I would definitely purchase them again.

Talk with your crew like they are right next to you!
They have worked great for boating, RVing and general property maintenance. Not having to yell, yet communicate with your crewmate is such a game changer. Very good distance. Very little to no static/crackle. Good battery life. Should have bought these long ago.

Unreliable and janky
Really surprised at all the good reviews. We have had ours for just under a year. We cruise our boat full time. For $385 for a pair of headsets, I would expect reliability and good build quality. Pros: Sometimes they connect right away when powered on. Sound quality is pretty good. Comfortable Cons: Leaving batteries in will drain them fast. Use the headsets for 5 min, turn off, then try to use 3 days later? Nope. Dead batteries. So we take out batteries every single time. Batteries seem to self discharge pretty fast even when removed. Clearly not even water resistant. The on off switch is the kind of thing you would find on kids toy. We don’t use them when it is raining or windy enough that water could spray up on deck; exactly the situations that hearing each other is essential. Unreliable connection: 50% of the time it connects instantly. 30% it takes up to 2 minutes. 20% it never connects. Drops connection about 20% of the time. Not secure on head. If I look up, falls off my bare head, same with my wife’s. I wear it under a hat to try to keep secure. I really hate these headphones, they have $20 gamer headphone build quality, and cost $385.
