Valtev Small Pocket Knife No2, Polished Wood Inlay Handle, Quality Stainless Steel Lockback Blade, Sturdy Nylon Pouch

Bought this for my wife to carry in her purse. Looks good, but ...She lacks the strength to close it, and even I who have carried a pocket knife for years, find it annoyingly difficult to close. This does not appear to be a newness issue that will get better with time.

This knife is for travel to cut things such as fruit that I buy, sandwiches, etc. It is very light and folds up into itself, just what I had wanted. It goes into my checked luggage obviously and I am very satisfied!

Decent solid little knife. Stainless steel. I wanted one for cutting my apples etc when I am out on the road or in the office. Fairly sharp out of the box and the size is big enough without looking like I have a knife for some other reason. Cleans up easily. Locks in place. Pretty happy with this product for my purpose. Wood is laminated but I may give it another shot with a spray on Poly product.

It's a small knife that's not too small. I like the clean look of it, and how the dark wood contrasts with the metal part of the handle. Opening and closing is still a little stiff, but is already smoother after just a few minutes of playing with it. The open blade locks into place well, and feels like it closes securely. The blade is sharp out of the box, but not shaving sharp. It weighs 2.10 oz. / 60 grams. It's about 3.5 in. closed and a little under 6 in. open, with the blade at 2.5 in.Some imperfections I've found:- The rivets and lanyard ring in the handle aren't quite smooth, you can feel burrs on a couple of the rivets and on the lanyard ring.- On one side of the handle, the wood does not sit flush and is lifted up a bit. I tried to take a picture of it, you may be able to see it there.- At the end of the handle, by one of the rivets, the wood is cracked and splitting. Picture included.Overall, I think it's a nice looking knife and it feels solid. A few issues with it, but it was inexpensive.

Nice little knife... A little bit bigger than I expected it. But a nice little knife.

Love the knife, small enough to not be bothersome in my pocket but large enough to hold in your hand when you get ready to use it. Good edge on blade.
