Failed after being installed for less than 3 months

i recieved a pump that did not work at all
like it says it never worked. So i contacted amazon and they were quick to help me get a return going i had to out of pocket order a new one so i could take care of my customer. Now I have received my new pump i tested it at least turns on . But what I'm seeing is the first one had no instructions and no mounting hardware or California sticker all of which was in the new pump box when i opened it ??? it looks to me like some one slipped up and sent me a returned defective unit anyway i might update after install but as of right now I'm not impressed. oh yes I'm a 45 + years as a tech. and it took me less then 5 seconds to confirm the new one was good even though the tech support dept told me they don't work unless you install all the relays because it has special grounds That is bull you can safely test the pump before you go threw all the install its very easy.

This lift pump works great
It was very easy to install and my mileage increased around 4to 5 gallons. The cost was verified reasonable.

Leaks
This style of pump is not a good design. They will leak ( seep) typically with in a month or two. If used for thinner fuels. Probably be fine unit but diesel it will leak when colder weather hits.
