We R Ribbon Cutter Cut & Seal Tool-Battery Operated

I purchased this item to replace an older one that didn't work any more. This one has a light that shows you it is on and it turns off when the end is melted. My old one didn't do that. I had a BUNCH of ribbon to cut and this cut down my prep time with a bit. Normally I would have to Cut it all to size theb seal the ends with a lighter. This melted the ends perfectly, no strings or accidently burning the ribbon ends.

It’s nice until it stops functioning. I used it once’s and then the next day I went back to use it and the red light wouldn’t come on which is supposed to indicate the heat turning on and it working, but it didn’t cut my ribbon anymore. Even tried replacing the batteries and it just did not work.

I opened one of these ribbon cutters new out of the box , inserted 4 new AA batteries and it DID NOT WORK! The 2nd one worked fine. The first one probably had a defective wire. So 1 star for the 1st and 5 stars for the 2nd, comes out to 3 stars.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I decided to do so because I felt that this tool must be rated fairly, and deserve a higher rating than it is right now. I am glad I gave it a try, regardless of mixed reviews. It works perfectly, is flawless, gives great results and the price is unbelievably cheap for such an amazing tool! I don't know why some people have negative experiences with this, I strongly believe they don’t read instructions on how to use it properly because if they would, they wouldn’t have any issues with it.

A Highly Recommended Tool for Cutting and Sealing RibbonAs a small business owner, I frequently require a tool for cutting ribbon. I've been using this particular product for a year now, and just recently replaced it (which is impressive considering how often I use it). This tool cuts and seals the ribbon perfectly, and I highly recommend it! The only minor inconvenience is that I have to replace the batteries on a monthly basis, but given the amount of use, it's not a major issue.
