I use these all day, every day. They moisturizer lips like nothing else I've ever used. The tube lasts a whole even with heavy daily use, so I'm happy with it. It goes on clear, has a subtle shine, and doesn't leave residues that I notice (unlike wax-based balms). My own dried lip cells might leave a "residue", but it wipes right off. If my nose gets chapped from a running nose or cold, I have a tube for the outside of my nostrils and it makes a massive difference.I rated it a bit down because I haven't tasted it to know the taste. I don't have problems with it when I eat or drink. It doesn't stain dishes. I haven't seen it stain clothes in the years I've used them. The scent is lovely and gentle to me. Doesn't feel like a stick of perfume and it smells like a natural vanilla scent. I haven't had other people comment on the scent while I had it on, so I don't think it's a strong scent but that's fine to me.Gonna buy my second pack of these soon! It's basic skin care for me now.

I’ve been a Softlips wearer for many years now. The original vanilla is still my favorite. Though I have enjoyed trying all the other flavors including the limited additions. But you can’t go wrong with the original. It’s lightweight, sheer, does not leave any residue, can be worn alone, or with lipstick over top. It protects against the elements while still leaving your lips breathable. It’s soothing for chapped lips. The vanilla is very lite. Just a hint but not overpowering. And provides a medium weight coverage. If you use it daily and often, I find that I don’t get chapped lips during the winter. I have tubes all over. From my bed stand, recliner, kitchen, home office desk, in all of my pick-up trucks, my purse, and on my seat at church. It’s versatile for either female or male to use. With the new products on the market, it’s not as easy to find anymore at ChinaMart. So I’m thankful for Amazon and the ability to still get them in bulk. Pick up some today. You’ll be glad you did. When I was a kid, I would always wear this specific lip balm because of my dry lips, however after a few years have gone by, I noticed them no longer being sold in stores, once I found them online for a good price and a good quantity, I had to buy them. Once the lip balms arrived, I opened it and tested it, exactly like I remember and was very happy and filled with nostalgia. Would defiantly buy again.
