Pleasantly surprised!
I actually am shocked by this one. I like smoothies in the am and that’s all I use collagen for. Tried a lot, some just don’t blend great. Thsi one does but what I’m super stoked on is the chaga content! I don’t eat mushrooms so I try to sneak them in and usually mushroom has a strong taste but I can’t taste this!! Hallelujah!

vitamin C to boost collagen effectiveness, chaga for immune support
I dont mind this. I have been using collagen peptides for a decade or so now, and I nearly always just use it in my coffee. More recently I have been looking for formulas that include vitamin C, as it helps synthesis & effectiveness, or I just make sure to take a C supplement very close in time to taking the collagen powder. I also use mushroom supplements every day, and nearly always add that to my coffee too. I dont normally take Chaga, so this is a nice change up from my usual mushroom blend (rishi, lions mane, cordyceps). The powder is beige, likely indicative of the added mushroom powder. The taste is pretty neutral. Not sure if I would notice if a cup was just handed to me with this in it. I drink my coffee black, btw. 1st cup black, 2nd cup has added supplements. If I take stuff that has icky flavor, then I use it in smoothies. This powder is fine in my coffee. Dissolves well, though I did have to whisk a little.Only aspect that is bothersome is that I dont know how much chaga is actually in here. Did I miss it? I dont see it. I would rather know how much is in it so I know if it is worthwhile over just taking adding a separate powder.Another thing, is no mention of how much collagen peptides. This one I can figure out as it is about a 1:1 ratio of protein to collagen peptides. So I will assume about 18 grams of collagen peptides per 1 scoop (included) serving. give or take 1 gram. Depending on your needs, this serving could be halved. I have had powders that have10-12 grams per serving, so with this having around 18, it is a bigger serving. Each serving provides 90 mg vitamin C (100% daily value).

Intriguing Collagen Peptides with Chaga Mushroom and Vitamin C.
I will admit that what interested me in this product was the inclusion of Chaga Mushroom and Vitamin C. I already consume mushrooms daily (as capsule supplements and in bulk powder). Chaga is one of the mushrooms in my vitamin/supplement regimen. And, I do take Vitamin C daily, too. So, getting more of both are welcomed. The problem arises when I searched the Nutrition Facts, and found that they didn’t quantify the ingredients. Although they did list the amount of protein, 18g, per 20.6 gram serving. Also the ingredient list states the use of organic chaga mushroom, which fosters a favorable nod.In terms of the collagen peptide component, it is quality sourced. They use grass-fed bovine collagen protein peptides in the product. The collagen is sourced from “Pasture-Raised Grass-Fed U.S. Cattle”, adding that it’s “Hormone & GMO-Free”. The product is also Made In USA.This is an unflavored collagen protein product. I added it to a cup of coffee, and would have to really concentrate to identify this product. That’s a good indication. Although, I don’t mind the faint taste associated with bovine derived collagen powders. The powder blended/mixed into the coffee well, too.The product label notes that the powder can be added to coffee, smoothies and baked goods. I’ll often add collagen or protein powders to cookie recipes to boost the nutritional value. This would be a perfect candidate for that endeavor.Overall, despite the lack of ingredient quantity details (Chaga), I still find the product to be worthwhile. I like that one of the badges indicates Lab Tested and text that states “All ingredients grown and made in the USA”. Taking these observations into account, this quality grass-fed bovine collagen protein powder, with Chaga Mushroom and Vitamin C, to be a very credible product. It receives a 4.25 - 4.5 star rating.

Its ok
It’s not the best tasting collagen peptides that I’ve had. But it has a lot of healthy nutrients in it which means I’m willing to overlook the taste

Quality product
I started taking collagen religiously. It has really helped with my brittle nails. I also take mushroom gummies. This product has the best of both. It states it's flavorless and that may be true to some but I can always taste anything I put in my coffee as I usually have it black. This one is mild though. Although I can still detect it, it's very subtle. It's made from 100% grass fed USA raised cattle and has the addition of vitamin C and chaga mushroom. One scoop is the serving size but I actually do around half that, which makes this last longer than the 25 servings it states it contains. At the current listing price of $38.63, it is pretty comparable to other brands.
