Jute Cube Decorative Basket

These are great for classroom use. We use them in all of our preschool classrooms. They are sturdy, attractive, and easy to clean and sanitize. Will continue buying!

Purchased sets of black and grey. Both are good quality, sturdy plastic bins. Attractive wicker looking design. True to measurements in description. Strong enough for using on overhead shelves. Unfortunately, doesn't allow for labeling due to the textured design.

I love these baskets. They hold the extra toys the grandkids play with while here. They neatly hide them in their cabinet.

We recently sold our weekend house in Maine as we bought a winter condo in California. Our small one-bedroom primary condo in Boston quickly proved to not have enough storage space as my husband teaches in the fall and each of us write and have lots of books and research papers. These bins were the right size to fit under a banquette bench which provides seating for our dining table / office workspace, as well as our living area chairs. However, it was a drag (no pun intended) to pull these to the ends of the table to access the bins, and I didn’t want to scuff our hardwood floors. I found the casters linked below on Amazon which when when installed to the bottom of the bins still fit under my banquette, and make then easy to pull to the table ends where we work, especially from the harder to reach middle section of the banquette. I tried affix the casters using superglue which is supposed to work on jute and metal - perhaps it does, but it doesn’t work glueing these materials together. I then found 4-40 x 1/4 screws and bolts and affixed these to the bottom of the bins after marking the holes of the caster board onto the bin bottoms and then drilling small holes on those markings. As I only did one prototype (11 more bins to go) I will order thin washers to keep the bottom of the screws from extending a fraction too far and then interfering with the casters. Best to install with the screw head (and small washer) inside the bin, with the nut below. Most customers won’t need to add casters, but the bins are versatile and can also organize materials on bookcases or in closets, with the two cutout handles easy to pull out and pick up. love the look of bins for storage. What I don't like is how grimy they can get. Plus I wanted it to look more decorative. Decorative cloth totes are cute, and yes you can get a variety of colors, but again hard to clean, and chemicals can soak through leaving either stains or faded fabric. Lastly they break down over time and just look frumpy. Baskets are sturdier, but you potentially lose an inch of space in the width and depth if they are thick sided. They also tend to break down over time if they rub together, leaving a mess to clean up. You can rinse them, but it required a bit more time to get it worked out of the texture of the basket. Justifiable so they are also a bit spendier. So I was left looking for plastic. A bit of water and the mess is gone. I thought about the clear plastic container, but then you see the contents right through it. So when I found a solid color textured plastic, that was just the right size, and on sale... I was sold! Add some tags to the front that clip on and BAM! I am happy!

Very heavy duty and arrived in great shape. These will be perfect to store my crafts.

Great storage bins. I like that they look like a natural, textured material but with the ease of use of plastic. It makes them easy to wipe down and clean. They look nice and help keep an area more pulled together and organized. These are also one of the most affordable options out there for plastic storage bins that look nice and come in a pack. Would recommend
