Well made and when used correctly, will do the job. Very hard soil and I worked soil , for obvious reasons, will pose a problem. This unit is designed for reasonably difficult soil.

Seems ok until you use it on heavy clay and the handle is bending.Had to do it by only going half way down spike twisting then repeatingActual spike is very solid just the handle[Update 11/10/23]I received a message from the seller offering me a refund - I did not accept it. I was impressed that the seller cared enough to do this - they did not have to. I have left plenty of reviews and 90% of the time the seller will not say or do anything. Credit due where it is due. I have not adjusted my review in terms of stars because I stand by what I say, I just had to adjust the way I used it, and its fine.Still I hope they look at strengthening the handle and quite honestly this would be a perfect product. If your soil is not like mine which is quite frankly really super hard clay I suspect it will be 5 stars.
