Love these updated look loafers. Bought more than 1 pair, I liked the so much. Comfortable and true to size.

I love Franco Sarto shoes! Im usually a 7.5 in their shoes when Im always a size 8. Based on some of the reviews that they run small, I ordered my usual size 8 and they fit perfectly. Loved the style, felt great BUT the color and the pattern were a deal breaker for me. As you can see from the pic, the burgundy is more like a brown. I went as far as using diff rooms with diff lighting to see if they would look more burgundy but they didn’t. Asked my husband and my daughter - they said def’ly brown. Pretty bummed. I wasn’t crazy about the crinkle pattern either. My shoes also had some inexplicable tiny white dots (you can see them on the pic) but they are not really visible unless you look closely. I liked them that much that the dots didn’t bother me at all but the overall color did. Took two stars off for the color and unnecessary “wrinkly” pattern that doesn’t make them look more elegant…

Cute shoe and comfy, but the size is CRAZY off. I wear a 9 without socks and a 9.5 with socks. In everything. Hands down. In european sizes a 40 is the winner. I got these in the 9.5 (40.5 equivalent) and they were huge. Fit like a 10. I couldn't have worn these even with thick socks they wouldn't stay on. Since they were so big, I took a chance on an 8.5 in a W and a regular. i do not have a wide foot, but haven't worn an 8.5 in many many years so I thought the wide might give me a little extra room. Both the 8.5 wide and regular fit fine. The length was perfect (without socks). The regular was a little tight, and the wide fit perfectly--maybe a little loose, but in a comfortable way. This shoe in the 9.5 was sooooo long that a whole size down was the right size. I got the tortoise and it is a really pretty copper color. Not as much dark brown in it as I would like but still a nice shoe. **got the 8.5 W and it fits perfectly, very comfy**

I really loved these shoes, style is perfect, comfortable once broken in… but alas the soles are not good quality and have cracked on one of the shoes. The mileage on these shoes is low as I hardly wear these, only once in a while and that I have a desk job so there isn’t much movement I do with these. I don’t recommend you to buy these if you are looking for something that will last longer than 1 year. 😠 I would have given zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY

Had to get used to the light color and the chunky style. But once I put the shoe on and wore it with something that complimented the shoe and the outfit together, it was a keeper. I have a black patent loafer pair, but I wanted to change it up for the spring/ summer, so I purchased the cream shoe. Can't go wrong with Franco Sarto. Purchased a size 8.5 W and it fits perfect. The shoe is a bit heavy but once I put it on, I don't feel the weight of the shoe. Very comfortable.

I’ve had them for 2+ years and they didn’t break in. They slip off easily. They look cute but are stiff and make it unnatural to walk.

These shoes are super comfortable and fit well. I like the deep blue (dark navy) color. The soles are thick and have great traction in the snow. They're high enough to wear with dress pants or longer jeans. I am really satisfied with this purchase, and I wish these came in a bright red color.
