Electronics-Salon DIN Rail Mounting Carrier Housing with Prototype Board, PCB Size 77.4 x 72mm

Fantastic little widget for use when you need to lash up a quick little circuit to mount to a DIN rail. I had a little voltage regulator circuit and I wanted to mount it on a DIN rail. I didn't think such a product existed by Amazon showed me how wrong I was!In fact I had another little battery cutoff module that happened to be the same height as the PCB in this module, but only half the width, so I took this unit's frame apart, sliced the provided PCB in half, then built my regulator on half of it and installed the battery cutoff module along with the half PCB back in this frame. Worked perfectly, saved me from having to lash up a fancy enclosure.

Nice product, but there is limited room underneath the board for components and/or wiring. There is no product photo that depicts the space you have, which is about 5/32 of an inch or 4 mm. No wirewrap is possible. Components with leads will have to be trimmed.Also, if you are thinking of adding PCB-style screw terminals, positions A-G are on 0.150 inch centers.

These easily snap into standard DIN rail. The plastic used for the case seems appropriate not to rigid it’s a pain to snap in but firm enough to securely hold the PCB. I plan to custom fab my own board.. these break down easy to support that. I’d buy more if I needed them.

This is a really handy proto typing board that mounts to a DIN rail. The point to point wiring is a little tricky so you'll need to do a layout sketch prior to starting your assembly.

The board seems nice, soldered and re-soldered without a problem. :) And the mount is sturdy . Not much else to ask for.

Could use some traces between holes like a breadboard, but other than that, useful.

Worked perfect for the project I was working on in an electrical cabinet. It was so nice to just snap it on the 35mm DIN rail.
