Queen of rock ‘n’ roll
Tina did so much for rock ‘n’ roll. I just wanted to have her part of my collection it’s not like seeing her in person. I was looking up to see her three different times and she puts on a fabulous show. You never sit down to the whole thing even though we had great seats. We were on our feet she had us engaged and just put on a fabulous show, you can’t beat it. Buy it you won’t regret it.

Very sad yet inspiring ... more detailed than the movie
Tina Turner breaks down in this movie and admits that she never felt loved in her life and her relationship with her mother was very sad and unfortunate. The woman used her and took advantage of her for her benefit. What was also pretty shocking was when Tina was at a film festival sitting next to Angela Bassett for the movie and you sensed she didn't like Bassett and she admitted she didn't want to see the movie because it was so negative. Tina looked very uncomfortable sitting there as did Bassett. Her getting signed to Capital records at 40 years of age and initially dropped then picked back up again after her manager begged the label to keep her on was really unfortunate but in those days 40-year-old acts were considered ancient and at the end of their careers so for her to reinvent herself and become a huge star at that time and under those circumstances was unheard of. I work in the industry and I have never met Tina but I did meet Ike once coming out of a 7-11 in LA and he had very creepy dark energy. Watch this movie, you will get a lot more out of it than the feature film gave.

I Love Tina
I have read and seen alot of documentary on Tina. This documentary gives a few tid bits I hadn't seen before. Its a very interesting documentary. She will be missed greatly. Two of my favorites are "What's love got to do with it and "Proud Mary" also loved the movie. To me she will be one of my all time Greatest right along with Cher.

Great documentary
Saw this on HBO MAX a few years. You get to hear Tina in her own words how her life was from her years with Ike, her kids and her mom up to the current with her husband. I enjoyed it when I saw it, but I wanted the DVD to own as I like collecting videos on artists that I enjoyed. I purchased the DVD the day of her passing. There will never be another one like Ms Tina Turner. The Queen of Rock!

Simply The Best
Love Tina Turner? Then you must watch this documentary. What a fantastic, strong, generous woman. Keep some Kleenex handy, this is a very moving film. I can go on and on but just get this film, if you still haven't yet. If, like me, you are a big fan of Tina, you will want to watch it again. And again. And you come out of it just loving her even more. And now she is gone, we can only cherish her memory.
