I was hesitant to buy this. It seemed a little costly, but I'm thankful I did. It hold an extra large bag of large breed dog food. I now have piece of mind knowing the food is staying fresher and keeps little bugs out of the food!

This is a must have if you've got large pets and want to avoid pests. I was able to fit two 35# Costco dog food bags worth of kibble with a little room to spare.

With 2 xl breeds we buy dog food in bulk. This container has the capacity to hold 2 bags at a time for us. I love that we can close off the top and the seal keeps the food fresh. The weight of the container itself is great and we are able to stack one on top of another.

This is a great product. We had mice getting into our dog food in the garage and wanted a container to store it in. This is durable and air tight so there is no way they are getting in. I first bought the 50lb version, thinking it would hold a 50lb bag of dog food (makes sense, right?), but it does not, so I returned it for the 80lb version and that holds a full bag of dog food.

This container is expensive, but worth it. It is ergonomically friendly...the height, the way that you remove the lid, etc. I am tall with a bad back, so I wanted something easy to scoop dog kibble from. It is high quality material. I needed something to keep the dog kibble fresh and prevent any pests from entering. I recommend if you want a high quality dry food pet container. I keep it in my laundry room closet where I prepare my dog's meals. It is attractive enough to store outside of a closet if desired.

Placing our dogs food into a strong container is what I wanted, the size was also on the list, white for the color white made it easy to keep clean, the seal air tight keeping bugs out and maintaining freshness of the large basgs of dry kibble. Great value for our money, I can't comment on the stackable because I purchased the really large one and there's no way I can put one on the other. If I bought the stackable ones I bet they would be strong too. We are well satisfied with our purchase and would recommend them to others. In this time we buy USA made items that last and tell others "Well done!!"

Update: Now that my babies are adults they are eating dog food. I buy the 57# bags from one of the big box warehouses. These containers will hold this with just took to spare for (maybe) 10# more. The only other observation I'll supply is the manufacturer needs to revisit the top of these containers.When pouring foods from these, the top of the container prevents all of the food from pouring out. Additionally, the inside near the top has sharp edges (plastic) that have scraped skin from my knuckles on more than one occasion.Still would recommend as these things went through a hurricane and kept the food dry.This is very sturdy but I have noticed some room for improvement with this product. The twist on/twist off lid should be replaced with a fliptop lid because after only two entries, the seal came off the top. I believing the twisting dislodged it. Fortunately, the seal was sturdy enough that it wasn't broken and it was easily reseated on the lid.Secondly, the size of this like of products could be overstated. When I was considering purchasing this, I originally considered purchasing the 50-lb. size. I'm glad I reconsidered. Even with this 80-lb. size, I was just able to get two 28.6-lb. bags of puppy food. This amount of food came up to just below the handles. I know it would not have held even half of another bag (total of ~70-lb.). Remember that puppy food is usually small so when my puppies graduate to dog food I real life doubt that I'll be able to hold a 50-lb. bag.So far, however, I am happy with this product. Much better than the SimplyHuman pet food storage I have. The size estimates on those are REALLY off.
