Ordered these 3" loop clamps to use on a portable diesel heater air output instead of using screw type hose clamps so I don't have to bring any tools and can attach the hose easily and quickly. I was a bit concerned that the heat from the diesel heater may damage the coating on the clamps but so far they've been holding up perfectly. They clamp securely and don't require a herculean amount of strength to open them which is great. As a bonus in my use case the handles act like an easel to point the air hose at an upward angle in my tent instead of blowing the air straight at the floor.

Fantastic idea! Never have to fumble with socket driver or screwdriver to tighten or remove these clamps. Good quality gear drive holds clamp securely. Knob easy to turn and seems sturdy.
